My dealer called me and told me that the connectors from the PC II box where not a good fit and he was unsure where to start with the mapping process. Before they take me down the money pit with labor cost--someone any one. Help with connector and mapping questions. Is the connector hook-up a "jerry-rig" or is cutting the wires involved? More detail I get the better. American Sport Bike insured me this was a routine hook-up. Al @ A.S. was kind enough to talk with the dealer, but I still need the info before these guys screw-up my bike. Thanks Guys Z.S06 |

You have a PM reply . All of "my" connectors worked, but I'm also certain that I had a PC for an X1. Having purchased from American Sport Bike, I'm sure yours is too. I did cut one wire on the PC and used a "Dutch Connector" as the tech called it (he gave it to me) to hooh the TPS up. Granted... I have an '04 XB12 and you have an '03 XB9 but they should be the same. As far as a map... Try Misato's website. |

Romonte, I just recently installed the PC on my XB9S. Getting my hands to fit between the engine and the inside of the gas tank/frame rail was a bit frustrating. The connectors actually fit quite well to the injectors and the bike's wiring harness. I did however, have a problem with one of the PC connectors and once the BadWeB helped me locate it and I figured out what was going on, the installation went straight forward. I'm now in the process of trying to find/develop a map for the XB9 with a D&D muffler and a perforated air box. Let me know if you have any questions. Keith |

"Dutch Connector" The manufacturer is Deutsch (Doich). They are from Hemet, CA. Just in case you ever need to find one out side of the dealer. |

Learn something new every day . Thanks . I realized I spelled Deutsch wrong after I posted it... Being a huge fan of the Deutsch Tourenwagen Manufacturers Championship that's inexcusable . |

M1, By the way, thanks for the MAP post and the dyno runs on the other thread. I just wish I could use it. I have a 9s. |
