 Saturday me 'n D had seats in the turn 11 grandstands, and took good advantage of them. not many pix, as my camera doesn't have enough lens to do the bikes any justice as they come up to speed on the front straight, but HAD to get this shot of the big screen with Nicky's name on top.  another shot of Nicky on the big screen. anyone who was paying attention here on BADWEB will remember that about a month ago i began predicting that Nicky would leave Laguna with the victory, and that Rossi would finish fourth. don't ask me how i knew, but i KNEW Nicky would finish first. thinking back on my posts, i don't think anyone figured i had a clue. they're prolly right, but i nailed this one pretty good, bubba. and had Melandri spent a little less time on the ground, i might have even been right about Rossi, too. i WAS close... i blew it on Colin. i had him seventh or eighth, and for that i apologize. the move he put on Rossi for second place on Sunday is the stuff of legend.
