What up Ya'll!!! I am back and badder than ever. It was a crazy weekend (Shorty's B-day) so I have not had much MC related time. But damn... I cannot believe how much happier with my bike I am! I am so stoked. It looks great and feels so much meaner...like I am just hugging the V-Twin. And it feels like it turns so much easier, all I have to do is think about it! Mad props to Odie for the fabrication, I have said it before and it was removed (pre-sponsorhip) that Odie is magic with metal and he proved me right! Form and function are top notch. And an extra special thanks to all the 3%ers who helped git er dun. I still cannot get my gauge to stay connected. I tried adding a zip tie in the Wal-Mart parking lot but that did'nt get it and I have not had to time to spend anymore time with it. It got me frustrated on Friday morning on my way to work so I pushed on it with my fist and put a spider crack in the center of my tach...DOH! I will get my pics posted soon...hopefully tonight. |

Sorry to hear of your problem with the spedo. Lets take the screen off one more time and work the main harness up enough so it wont pull when you turn. That was a great conversion, looks stock the way you did it. |

Stealth, glad you are happy!! Sounds like your harness is getting pulled when you turn the bars?? SB sounds like he's on the right track by pulling all the excess harness you can towards the front. When you get a chance take somemore pic's of the finished product and tell me what else you had to do to make it work. Later, Odie B_S, the camp lasts until thursday morning. We have to go fetch them then. They say they're having a blast so far. Later, Odie |

Man... I have been informed that I cannot just replace the plastic on my gauge cluster and a replacement is $273.00! DOH! That was an expensive boo-boo. |

Stealth, I feel your pain. I hate it when I hit expensive things too hard. |

Just put a bullet hole decal over where you hit it and it will be fine. You just made it more stealthy. |

I don't like the "bevel" in the guages anyway, when the sun hits it wrong it looks like there is a crack in there and it distracts me. I wonder if you could cut down a piece of lexan and make your own new cover. |

Thats sorta what i was thinking of maybe even a piece of slightly smoke tented would be cool and use some rigid panel bond epoxy on the edges and sand smooth ans a little paint on the lip and more factory lookin mods.... |

You just made it more stealthy. Ahhh...U know me well! I am so hard on everything I own! I will have to come up with a creative solution at a later date. Luckily it is right in the middle of the tach so its not really covering anything. I will post a pic or two later. Thank for the input ya'll! |

Glitch, the wife and I are brainstorming now. I have been using my "Special O.P.S." wings logo (see below) for most stuff. I guess that would be fine. You should still have the design somewhere as you made it for me! Maybe the S.O.'s wings on one end and "Odie's Performance Systems" on the other end. Then I guess I'll need to link it to my website also. Feel free to throw any and all ideas out there. Thanks again, Odie |

Glitch- sounds good. Drift- I have some sitting right here in front of me. They are not heat resistant to allow you to run it on the pipe though. I have one on mine (a heat resistant one)but it is slowly coming off due to the heat. I'm working with a guy on an emblem that will be welded on the side of the pipe and will stand off about 3/16 inch to give it a 3D look. The stickers I have are about 10" long and white. If anyone wants one just email me your address and I'll get them out. ALL- I just published my first website. I'm working with Glitch on some banners as I became a sponsor of the BadWeb on the 1st of July. Should be up and running on the BadWeb shortly. If you all would, please go to the site and let me know what you think. ANY suggestions or comments would be great- good, bad, indifferent, doesn't matter. I also have a guest book for people to sign if you want. I have some pic's also. If you want yours posted send me a good one and I'll get it posted. Here's the address- www.specialops-online.com Thanks much. Later, Odie |

Odie... Your site looks good, if you need ANY help, please let me know. I will take some more time to go over it later and let you know if I have any suggestions. I got some more pics last night, hopefully I will be able to get them resized and uploaded sometime today. After I get my bike touched up a little I will set up a shoot and get some high quality pics of my Special OPS Streetfighter! Special OPS: pipe, heat barrier, tail section, clip-on conversion Drift... I appreciate the heads up but I can't spend a benjamin on crack right now! Glitch... On the logo I would move intake and exhaust mods text under the wings (try a different font), then center Special OPS (same font)in the circle. Just a thought. |

Odie , I just checked out your website looking good , maybe when i graduate from my blast to a xb9s, I'll be calling you. Well this past Saturday new12r an I went for a short ride down rosebud not to far, but there was something really different about this ride , because I was on my own bike yeehaw!!! I got up to 40mph. I tried shifting without pulling my clutch in which wasn't to smart but i did fine . Although I really wanted to to go faster, I was concentrating more on my shifting than going fast. oh yeah an not getting run over . Tonight if its not raining when I get home we might ride over to tribble mill park. I CAN HARDLY WAIT. sorry for yellin I'm just so excited maybe here in a couple of weeks I;ll be ready for a back road run he he keep your fingers crossed for me guys.Who knows maybe one day I'll show up at one of your homes ready to ride you gonna be ready for me he he just kidden man I'm so funny today one problem I'm having now is new12r thinks it's sexy when I ride, (I think he just likes lookin at my back side) he won't keep his hands off of me now. Wow now were really having some fun . |
