I just put a new set on tonight but haven't had a chance to ride yet. Are you guys running the prescibed XB pressures or something different? Thanks for your thoughts in advance, I'm really looking forward to trying them out!! |

I run the prescribed pressure from Buell for the tire, the reason being that air pressure and tire heat is affected by the weight of the bike. The more weight the higher the pressure you need to run. The lighter the bike, the lower the pressure you can run. Then from there I can make adjustments as I watch how the tire life goes. I get real anal about checkign for feathering and cupping for the first 1000miles of a brand new type of tire on my XB and it has paid off so far. |

It does too . I ate an M1 front in about 1500 miles... I added a line of preload on the front and I think it took too much weight off the front tire mid-corner. It slides now... I think the better solution would have been to add 5-10mm of fork oil, but I don't REALLY want to open the forks. I think the next best bandaid is to reduce rebound compression a little. I've got 15K on th bike now though and didn't do the forks at 10K... I should probably just open them up and clean them anyway. |

F 2.3 bar (~33 psi) R 2.5 bar (~36 psi). The Pilots are far more tolerant of a few psi than them ole Dunlops. |

Stock tire pressure for the Dunlop D207s is: 36psi (front), 38psi (rear). |
