seen a commercial on speed channel for a show called pinks, two people race for pinkslips. The winner gets the other persons car. Tomorrow's show features what appears to be a Buell vs. a v-rod. I think it airs at 8:30pm eastern time. |

I watched the one on last night and like it. The negotiation that occurs before each race adds some spice for sure. |

Been doing some investigation on this show & supposedly its all bogus. Found this on one of the chicago street racing boards. Quite a few races have been filmed already with Camaros, Busa's, Gixxer's etc. Inside scoop on the show from the FullThrottleV6 Admin, Epic (stand-up guy): Quote: Lemme give a little bit of a background since I am friends with all of the parties that were involved with the episode. This didn't happen in Illinois - it happened in Iowa back in October. The green LT1 is the Straightline Performance shop owner's car (Tony goes by jucin, I was at his shop a few weeks ago dynoing). He is from the southside and runs chicagohp.com which I admin. As for the black formula...well, that would be Bird of Prey's NHRA Formula (moderator on our board), driven by Chitown Racing's shop owner (Dustin goes by ponch, they installed my converter). Ponch is from the northside..he owns the board chitownracing.com which I admin. The car was not lost, it was a gimmick..here's why. Another car was supposed to be in place of the Formula but the car wasn't ready in time so they ended up using BoP's car (actually decided the night before). The spots were pretty necessary considering the fact that the LT1 is a mid-10sec car on the gun. This show could be so much better, but the host is a douche and doesn't know a thing, pretty amateur filming scheme of things, and the flow of the show is lacking. I'll give it this much though - it's the best 'reality' show for track people. Too bad the future episodes are going to bomb. I had the original promo on DVD a few months back before this aired.. I can't believe they didn't fix the "v28" when showing Tony's LT1. What a joke. |

Watched the show Dyna's referring to and wondered about the lopsided cars. The show wasn't anything special, but it still peaked my interest when I saw the promo with the V-Rod...I'll watch it even if the "reality" is staged a bit. |

I thought the red bike looked like an older suzuki gs1100 (or 1150) e. I could be wrong, but from what I saw that was my impression. FWIW the vrod will really have it's hands full if it is one of the 8 valve suzuki's. The tuners can make SERIOUS power with them. It wasn't until very recently they fell off of the grid at NHRA events. |

Well, the Suzuki won. I was disappointed to see that it wasn't a Buell racing, but I watched anyway. The show is not something that I'd have to watch weekly. |

Its really disappointing because even the episode comercial looks like the front flyscreen of a red M2...yet the bike racing has no flyscreen. |
