The only drawback I see is that dyno tests evidently show a measurable power increase from the catch can systems. The engine makes a teeny bit more power when it doesn't have to re-ingest its own crankcase fumes. On the other hand, sucking the fumes down the intake keeps them out of the atmosphere and helps keep your oil cleaner which is good for engine life.   Buellgler Posted on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 - 06:57 pm:        based on how my X1 is at this point, if using this part is at worst a lateral move power-wise, then I'm going to be just fine!
