My Buell is not that slow! Except when I drive it. 0-60 in 40 seconds? Must have misread the decimal point. (4.0) |

Man, I wasted my money. 0-60 in 40 seconds. Sigh... Of course, I would hope that business is smart and keeps the bikers. Don't they realize the money they can make. (Message edited by cataract2 on June 24, 2005) |

Here we go again. I went through the same thing in Cincinnati with kids cruising cars & bikes in a certain area of suburban Sharonville. The crowds were huge and it was the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. Then the businesses and residents complained to the police and they chased off the cruisers. Peace resided in the area afterward. Oh, and all the businesses that were making money off the cruisers closed down and are gone. Good move! |

I've been to this Sonic before. Every Thursday is bike night at this place. I won't go back. Too many people and bikes crammed into one place. The last time I was there they had to have over 300 plus bikes. It was hard to walk through it much less ride a motorcycle into the parking lot. Most of the riders behave, but there is always the occasional idiot who decides to do burnouts and donuts in the street out front. I can't blame the police for cleaning it up. |

M2nc... was it hooters, or the new shipps Yamaha building? I keep meaning to drop in on the new Shipps place, they had a decent gear selection even in the old tiny shop. |

Reep: It was way before then. Back in the day (before Hooters were ever in the nasty thoughts of their creators) there was Malibu Grand Prix and Golden Tee. Each on opposite sides of Sharon Rd on the other side of 1-75 from Princeton High School. It was a hot spot for cruisers of the day. People would ride from all around to city to cruise Malibu and Golden Tee. The two businesses would be end points to a loop that the cruisers would ride. Some of the fastest cars I've ever seen on the road were there. In that class, if you could break into 11s in Cars and 10s on bikes, you spoke softly. Its all gone now. |
