er..."kano"... you wouldn't want to put S3 forks on an S2, unless you either like shorter travel, or prefer a conventional handlebar clamp w/ a 7/8 bar. that being said, however, this is exactly what i did w/my S2, being that I wanted conventional 7/8 bars and adjustability. |

bomber...some folks really don't give a rat's how their machine looks, only how it rides (& mine rides like the proverbial MOFO) |

I converted my S1 to a true single seater. I cut the passenger mounts off. The back of the seat can hardly be called another seat. |

Tramp-what i ment in my post is that you said i had an S2...i don't. i have an M2 so thats why i said if i ever buy an S2 i'll let you know and we can talk about those forks. otherwise i have no use for them. and as for your second post to me...it was your idea in the first place to put the S3 forks on "my" S2 (which i don't have) so why would you tell me that i wouldn't want to do that (in your second post) when you just tried to sell me the forks??? i'm confused... |

To set things straight the early WP forks are superior to the later ones (they are also considerably longer)...they have more adjustment range. The later ones are a lot less hassle to work on, though. |
