General Request: No pic to upload? Please resist posting comments and/or questions to this page; instead post your comments with a link to the pic of interest on the appropriate tech page or GDB. How to include a link from your post to another specific post: 1. Near the upper left corner of the post containing your particular pic of interest you will see a little yellow icon like this... (supposed to look like a little file folder). When you position your mouse pointer over the icon, the screen message will say "Link to this message". 2. Copy the hyperlink/shorcut.
With MSIE and PC simply right click on the icon and choose "Copy Shortcut". With a Mac, instead of right clicking I think you simply click and hold until the "Copy Shortcut" applet appears? With Netscape... I dunno, but something similar to the above might work. 3. Post your pic related comments to the appropriate page. Use the BBS's "\link{URL, pic text description}" command along with the copied shortcut from #2 above as follows:
"\link{paste the previously copied "Shortcut" here, add pic description here}" Example: "\link{http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/43/43.html?SaturdayNovember1120000511pm#POST46219, Steve's wicked cool Millenium X1 pic}" produces the following link; try it! Steve's wicked cool Millenium X1 pic You can use the "\newurl{, } command in place of the "\link{, }". or... you can simply use the same "shortcut" method to pull up just the picture. Instead of copying the "shortcut" (really the URL) of the post/page of interest, copy the URL of the picture itself. Example: "\newurl{http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/43/4015.jpg, Steve's wicked cool Millenium X1}" produces the following link, try it! Steve's wicked cool Millenium X1 I'll make you all into BBS nerds yet! Thanks for your help in keeping the BBS as lean and mean as possible. Blake |

These ones are for Rocket ! Rocket, isn't it your dream for the features of the Buell 2002 catalog ?! Personally, yes ! EB, please keep the vitamined Sporster engine and put it in a bodywork like one of these ! Either superbike or good-old-british style. To paraphrase my friend Pete Arhens, webmaster of the International CBX Owners Association (he says that "the CBX is the Vincent of the future"), I would say that "the Vincent is the Buell of the past !". 1000 Egli Vincent replica proudly made by Patrick Godet

Do you guys remember this pic previously posted ? the owner is Preston Marks of PMS. Ride coordinator of Orlando 1203 Club. A Buell wrench supreme. He also custom makes parts such as a catch can and other billet goodies..

Jerome : This one's for you. It saw the light of day at Elvington last month. It hasn't been out on the strip since the 70's, when it ran 10's. I belive it ran a 10 at Elvington too. Still owned by the same person who raced it all those years ago, its had a fresh rebuild and as you can see, must be great to ride, been so low and hard. The sensation of speed must be awesome. Thanks for the Egli. Classic Bike did a feature on them a couple or three years ago. Great reading, and what a bastardised existence they lead ! Rocket in England |

Jerome: You have some of the same ideas running through your head as I do for my M2. Aluminum front fender. Drop center aluminum Akronts. Lose the plastic tail-section. Custom seat. The tricky piece: Fuel tank. Buell scripts ala the old Norton logos... Very do-able. This bike has the EXACT look I'd like to achieve: Jeff H. - '97 M2 |

Jim and Jeff : a scan of the Battle2Win magazine on the VD Classic Buell is available at the following url : VD Classic Buell scans Oh yeah, Norton-type logo, black paint with gold lines, Akront rims, huge Grimeca four-cams drum brakes. That would make a nice Vincent of the future ! |

takin' a break from the GDB debate? we'd be ridin' slightly evolved models of these or some CBZXRGB if it weren't for Mr. Buell. Roll on, Steve(2) dcbrag.org |

Wow, I was suddenly confused as to which board I was on! I am also on the CBX list - I own an '80, and an '82 CBX. Great bikes! I think the Buell handles a little better : ) One CBX photo... And one Buell photo... Mike |
