I'm planning on driving to JAX with the kids tomorrow. They are both excited about seeing the show. Hope to bump into you all there. I'll be looking for a back of Buells to pass me on the way there. :-) |

Carlos and Brandy, I'm hoping that we will be meeting up with a badwebber from Wilmington tomorrow as well. We will have to work out the details when we meet up in the morning. Jim, Hope to see you there. Tomorrow's going to be a GOOD day! Bubba, Buell's, Old Maple Hill Road, the fish camp and fellow Bueller's! 1313 |

U4euh, They're meeting somewhere in New Bern @ 9:00 AM and will be getting to New River H-D/Buell in time for the 12:00 PM performance. If you read this early enough, call me on my cell and I'll get you either Carlos' or Brankin's cell # so you can catch up with them. My cell # is: (252)321-3266 Dave |

U4euh If you can make it to Jacksonville for the 12pm show, we will meet you there. We plan to go to Maple Hill to the fish camp via Old Maple Hill Rd after the show. Like Dave said, call him because we will be on the road. Dave, if Jim calls you, just leave a voice mail on my phone. I will check messages. Hope to see everybody! |

Hey guys, sorry I couldn't catch up w/everyone. Broke my footpeg this morning pulling out, rerouted through Fayettnam. Nobody had one. Had passenger so I ended up just calling it a day. So anybody get any good pictures. I believe Bubba is going to be in Southern Ill. in Oct, I'll try to plan a trip to that one for sure, my birth city so plenty of places to sleep. Maybe I can make it out that way soon and see all the roads I keep reading about here. Hope all made home safe, JIM P.S.-did some one try to call me? I got a voice mail, the only thing I got was a motor in the back ground a a few broken voices! |

Jim Nance - Great seeing you. It's cool are kids are all about the same age. Maybe the next time we can get them to talk. Jim Rainey - Sorry to here about the peg. I wish you could of made it. As always, it was an adventure, maybe a little too much of one. We definitely need to get together but I know with my schedule it will be tough. Are you planning to go to VIR next week? No final plans, but we are talking about camping Saturday Night and staying to see the races Sunday. |

Carols - Yea, that is cool. Once Tricia gets over her initial shyness she is pretty outgoing. My boy likes to talk all the time. They loved the show. Jesse was particulary intrigued by the smoke from the burnouts. Jim - Sorry about your peg. Fallout from TWO? Hope to see you soon. Oh, Rebecca took the MSF class last weekend. She'll be on my Blast soon. |

Jim, that's great. I guess you will have to practice your smokey burn out wheelies on the Blast. |

Actually when I saw him do the wheelie on the Blast the thought going through my mind was "I might be able to do that." |

Here are some of my pics from the New River H-D/Buell. Some are good and some are not so good. For those who were unable to make it - it should give a pretty good idea of the show. First off, Carlos and his daughter Carlee demo'd the biggest bike in H-D's lineup: We met up with a fellow badwebber, Oldog, from Wilmington. Here's his X1: Now on to Bubba: Thanks to the cheering of the crowd in the area (some of which may have been children of C-3 member) I was able to get this great shot: My itchy camera finger snapped this one just a little too early: Here's Bubba warming up for the 'big' jump: Kinda reminds me of this pic of Spike the first day the C-3 Group met him: Finally here's Bubba mid air on his 'big' jump over 10 tractors: 1313 |

Last weekend for the most part was fun. Jim (U4euh), I wished you could have made it. Now to next weekend. So who's up for motorcycle racing? It looks like we are going to change plans. Dave & I are going to make VIR a one day trip. We are going to ride up Sunday morning to VIR. Anyone else going? |

Carlos- what time are you guys planning on riding up on Sunday? Dave- do you have many sling bags left? My wife seems to have taken over mine as her gym bag. I could come test ride something if necessary. What days are you working this week? Mike (Message edited by spike on June 21, 2005) |

Spike, I have few left, you don't have to ride anything to get it, as a matter of fact, we're beginning to run low on Buells so there isn't much to ride, unless you want to ride a Blast! Just need to get it done before the 30th of June. On VIR: Anyone interested in going this Sunday, how 'bout we meet in Zebulon there at the McDonalds near Hwy 96, the one you can see from 64/264 about 8 A.M. The more of the Raleigh contingent that can come, the merrier! I think there should be a jump off between Bubba and Spike. See who can jump the most toys, but the stakes should be higher...............TEDDY BEARS!!!!!!! |

I broke my toy! I was riding home from work today when I felt an odd "slip" in the drivetrain. I pulled over to check it out and realized I had managed to rip a few teeth off of the belt. The belt itself was still intact, so I was actually able to ride the bike some ~5 miles home with a good number of teeth missing from the belt. I wish I could claim I was JRA (Just Riding Along) when it happened but I was actually bringing up the front end in 2nd gear when I felt it slip. Fortunately the factory warranty manual makes no exclusions about wheelies, so I should still be able to get the belt covered under warranty. Unfortunately that means I won't be doing any riding this weekend, unless I do it on the 50. Guess I should start practicing for the tractor/model/teddy bear jump. Mike L. '04 XB12R |

Ok...was thinking of meeting up with you guys and riding up in the morning, but the weather is not looking very good. I don't mind getting wet but a hour and a half to 2 plus hours through thunderstorms doesn't sound all that fun. What are your plans? Larry |

Looks like a wash out for Dave, Mike and I. We each for our own reasons won't be able to make it. The weather is just the last straw. Man, I wanted to go too. |

Skeeter and Buellish, Sorry guys, I guess I've been slacking. I haven't had the time to go through all my Homecoming pictures and shrink 'em suitable for posting yet. With Bubba's show in J'ville 2 weekends ago and the Smoke Out in Salisbury this past weekend I've been a little caught up away from this black box called a computer. I will get some Homecoming pics up soon, (maybe in a new post in the Tale Section) I promise - there's plenty of cool stuff! As for the Smoke Out, about half the Buell's in attendance were NOT chopped. I will have to get some of those pics ready too. For now, Carlos has always mentioned something about ape hangers on his M2...Maybe this will make him reconsider...Can you imagine why some silly, little freak would do something like this to an M2?!?! 1313 |

Some stuff from the Smoke Out (some cool, some interesting and some just plain appalling). Opinions expressed regarding the Smoke Out are not the opinions of the board and are merely intended to inform and entertain Tomorrow and the rest of this weekend I will get my Homecoming Adventure up in the Storm Fronts section. First off some classic Buell's (not chopped). Some newer Buell iron (not chopped). Love the CF headlight surrounds: Met this badwebber from Cleveland, NC there. I hope that we will meet up with him when we go to the Central/Western part of NC: Now for some of the ambiance of the event. For some reason (can you guess why?) this tank really caught my eye: Interesting Blast! Chopper: WTF X1 turned rigid: Buell influence on this Sporty (this guy is from Georgia and knows some of the 3%er's BRAG Group): The bad news is that Redneck Engineering has figured out how to rigidly mount an XB powertrain in a chopper: This one, a work in progress, had some interesting stuff on it, and I believe this was put together by Hank Young's son: As I was standing there checking out the sidestand I realized the ultra cool placement of the license plate: An interesting shot from downtown Salisbury: Doesn't that look like Lee Iacocca checking out my V-Rod? Now we return you to your normal programming, 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on June 30, 2005) |
