Elf, If I remember correctly when Englishman did his challenge he had just tucked them under the mat. With no problems. But that was last year. Today I am guessing that if we were to put the little breathers and something like the catchcan from Norris on with the system what the out come would be. You would have all the benefits from the F.A.S.T. and less mess with the Catchcan. Seems like it would all work together really really nice. Shawn |

the catch can from Norris Performance is VERY nice. Even the fitting threads are exactly the right position to allow all of them to tighten at exactly the right angle. The lower fitting requires an allen wrench (or any small metal rod) to open. The fitting tightens down at JUST the right spot so that you can get the rod in to loosen it easily. THAT is proper machine work . WRT the devil boy... I've been around the badweb for just about two years. I have yet to see the members of this board call it wrong . |

Perfectly fine Indy . I think it was touched off about the time the Devil Tube showed up. That guy has been asked to put up or shut up and he won't. He told Blake to (in effect) F off wrt the rules for selling product here. He said that no matter whether he follows the rules or not, if there's talk of his product then people will buy it. That turned out to be slightly true (a couple people bought one) but I think if he were to send a stack to someone for independent testing then he would sell more if it worked, or none if it didn't. I think he knows exactly how that would turn out, so he chooses to not let anyone dyno it w/o first buying it. |

But hey if you want to take advice from someone that doesn't even have an XB then thats cool. In fact I do. And for another fact, I would take his advice over yours any day. Go take a hike will ya? |

"I'd say you insult our intelligence ..." Ditto. If you really wanted to get a real test done you would have found a way to do it. There's people we trust in OZ... Didn't you decide to send the stack to Glitch and THEN tell Blake he could stick it where the sun don't shine wrt his rules assuming that you would still sell tubes? Go take a hike . "its another when you use your site as a platform to defame people." Prove that your stack works... |

Did he delete his own post or did a custodian delete it? |

And here I thought you were just talking to yourself Seriously, I'd put my money on the custodian being the deleter of Devilish things. |

Some irate custodian removed some posts. My concern with the sealing is that cutting away a bunch of the lid and then asking its sealing surface to remain undistorted and flat might not be a great idea, especially if you are using only the stock fastening points. Bill, if all those straps stay tight, you will have a superior loading of the lid than those using only the original fastening points. Those are the cases I would be most concerned about sealing integrity between lid and filter. |

On the twelve there is a piece of foam that holds the actuator motor for the interactive exhaust. I took another piece of foam about 3/16" thick and spray-glued it to the bottom of the airbox cover above the factory actuator motor foam. It hold the filter lid down very nicely. I've inspected it 5-6 times since I did it and have never had any sign of contamination inside the filtered portion of the intake tract. I do seal the cover to the filter by wiping a thin layer of oil on the air filter rubber though... |
