I like to imagine that there is a database of @sshole drivers that get their tags called in and when they do eventually get pulled over for anything the cops give them an even harder time- I've heard that is what happens. I'm not sure if that is on the local or state level though. ,,Inspect,,it at your work area or a more private location D.O.B I have an office, so all I'll have to do is shut the door... |

S_B...you wearing that gay burner jacket tonight. I'm sure your buddy with the ponytail will have his on. Here's mud in your eye! Can't wait to blow this joint. Speaking of joint. I went downstairs to the cafe to get some lunch and there was this guy in front of me in the line. He reached in his pocket to pay for his lunch and a big bag of weed fell out.. He just picked it up and left without his lunch. Everyone (about 12 people) saw it. Hilarious!!! Just for the record I do like Pink, just on the opposite sex, mind you. |

PINK? Well I just got to the house. Went to work this morning at 4:30am downtown at the GSFIC building, the city inspector was happy with my work so he gave us the C-O for the building. Three day weekend here I come! Starting tonight with all my riding pals' and a cold brew and maybe a black and blue. Hope to see some MUD! See everyone at the V'tex or at SMHD. Gotta go so I can pack my she-ot. Maybe get a little ride time in. (Message edited by shred on June 16, 2005) |

Glitch: (a.k.a. smart brother) or anyone else that may know, As you know the heat of summer is upon us and I ride a bike WITH NO FAN...I would like to remade this problem without the $265.00 fan kit i've seen on e-bay(i'm cheep, what can i say). I just need a point in the right direction with speed and size or air flow volume? or something I can modify to work. |

Glad someone picked up on that. You know me, I'm just a curious guy! Ya'll don't wait for me at the dealership. I just found out I've got to go home, get the truck, haul Colin over to his girlfriend's house, pick her up, and drop the two of them off at marching band practice, get back home, get changed, and head out to the V. I'll try to make it to the dealership, but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it with out holding ya'll up. |

S_B, that fan blows between the cylinders? If so, I bet we could fit one of the XB fans to your bike. I'm just not sure how/where we would put a heat sensor so it'l know when to come on. I'm sure we can do it, we'll just have to do some research. |

Silverbullet, There's a thread over on the Old School Buell forum about home brew cooling fans for tubers. It turns out typical computer cooling fans are 12 volt DC and can be wired into your bike's power system with no problem. One guy got a $15 unit from Radio Shack and mounted sort of in front of the battery and above the primary so it's pointing up at the rear cylinder. He just wired in a manual switch for his. I did some searching on the net and these fans come in ALL kinds of colors, flow capacities, etc. (and all are much less than $265). Only possible headache is they are very likely NOT weatherproof. Still, at $15/each, you could afford to carry a few spares. I'm seriously considering adding one to my S3. Here's the URL for one of the threads (there were several) http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/115645.html?1118410005 (Message edited by whodom on June 16, 2005) (Message edited by whodom on June 16, 2005) |
