i am looking to order a whole bunch of goodies for my xb9sx from American Sport Bike. I need to know if anyone knows what the change is from stock bars to the American Sport Bike style crossroads bars? ( IE: 4" down 6" forward. ) I am also getting the airbox conv kit, and a ventura rack system. was going to get the oil collector catch can , but they informed me there is a new style going to be available that looks far better on the XBs. So I am going to hold off on that to see what it will look like, then decide. Soon as it is all here and I get it all installed I will post up pics. as it sits now, I have bar end mirrors, race kit with D&D pipe, Corbin gunfighter, custom frame sliders front and back I made at work. (I work in a CNC shop), shock mini 1 signals, frame pucks, bra, carbon fibre flyscreen, air box cover, front fender and seat cowl (it only works with the stock throne though). Looking into the chin fairing and the right side air scoop. But as it is now, Ive spent all the wife will allow. See, The reason I got the Xb instead of a sportster is because she said I would spend a few grand modding the sportster. I told her I wouldnt need to do hardly anything to the XB. Well, I guess I told a little lie, now that I am in for about 2 grand in mods for my XB. She likes riding the XB way more than she would have the sporster. Its a head turner, and the D&D sounds like a mad dog. Harley guys are in aww of the way it sounds. Thanks DAVES!!!!! You rock. Everywhere we go we get the usual questions and compliments. I love this machine. anyway, if anyone knows the difference from stock to crossroads bars please help me out and post the measuements. thanks- sean |

I don't know the difference in placement, but I have them and they make sport riding much better, and are a better position than dirt bike bars. I have the zero degree set. |

Here's a pic of the newer catch can for the XB's - a few of us have them on order...notice the shiny part next to the oil cooler? That's the one. Mounts on that part and I think most people who have pre-ordered will have black ones - blends in nicely. Mike did a nice job tooling these up.
