Last but not least a Ducati Raptor...well kinda but neat.This guy used a 900 SS motor and the swing arm and rear wheel and that it.The rest he Fabricated himself.The body work is not so desireable in my opinion but it works and it sounded really cool.   | ||

Woops. You're right. The Rebels were larger. Always liked the AMC muscle cars. Friend in high school had a '69 AMX 390 4 speed and the "Go pack". | ||

Hey Dana nice pics I was there but did not see you. It was a nice show but it was on the small side. That is one nice looking machine my dad just sold his, he is still waiting for the guy to pick it up. Here in kenosha my dad was Mr AMC he had 27 different two seater AMX's three rebel's and four different SC/rambler's. He still has the very first AMX that he bought new. | ||

Maybe it was your Dad that I was going to buy one from.Back in 1985.He had three at the time a silvery looking blue one that was a daily work driven car not in good shape.He had a metalic tan one that was a show car through and through.Then he had the one I was going to buy.Dark Green 4 speed car all original except center line wheels. | ||

No that was not him he had a bitter sweet orange, red white and blue, and the one he is in the mist of selling now that is the only one black with a black vinyl top, with black int. they mad others that were black but no vinyl top. | ||

My dad has them all packed I can see what I can do about getting some and trying to post them or bring them to one of the meetings. | ||

Nancy, you & Mike need to come up for some boating. Hit Lake Wisconsin & the Wisconsin river today & holy crap where there ever the boats out there. Everything from canoes to huge Fountains. Plenty of sandbars too, people parked all over grilling & having a good time. We got a little burnt due to being out on the water so long but its worth it. Dee says thanks for calling earlier also. If it's the same one, I just sold the guy with the Rambler Scrambler a new FLT He traded his XB12R for it. Can't be too many of those around anymore. Good to know that Dyna and I aren't the only AMC fans here. My first car was a 68 Javelin,343,go pack 2nd car was a 75 Hornet X, built 304 Had a 80 AMX too Fun cars. I'm a Ford guy now but I'd love to have a 69 AMX | ||

Kelli and I were at the car show in the park, beautiful day. I picked up a 1973 Honda SL 350 for $250 last tuesday. Just got it running yesterday I'm going to put some fresh rubber on it this week, weld up a couple holes in the mufflers, get it registerd, and have some fun! See ya! | ||

Coolice, I couldn't make the homecoming and the factory tour. I was out of town on business. I figured that they would already be producing new stuff, (like last year at this time) at the open house in 04 some of what we saw was 05 production. I just thought it would be the same this year. didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. |
