Ok guys, as long as the forcast (76 and sunny) holds, I'm going to road-trip to Eagle Harley in Lafayette this coming Saturday (the 7th). I'll be getting my 1000 mile service done and having the bike dynoed. Anyone want to join me? Mebbe buzz around Purdue a bit and check out the girlies? | ||

On my way to work this morning I ran across a guy named Rodger who was riding a black Thunderbolt. We talked for a few and exchanged numbers. He's looking to buy an XB soon. So we might have another Bueller to join us if we ever manage to gather together.  | ||

Whats the latest date I got a travel the 14th weekend and 21st. Thinking about going to the home coming plus I got ozzfest july 31 Im BUSY. Id be up for riding around indy with yaall but we need to start talking about specific days. cheers | ||

Ya Indy, Been really busy..Finally got the bike back last week..been rid'n and trying to get used to this new power..D&D full system and Ecm.. You wouldn't believe how loud it is.. But it's very cool.. I would recommend everyone get this system.. the power it creates is incredible, You will forget about how loud it is when your gett'n on it, Because your trying to hang on. People talk about loss in low end loss in high end..But I can tell ya that there is no loss on any end..this thing pulls all the way to the chip in any gear. Talk about wheelies..before was hard to smack the hammer down and get the front wheel off the ground. Now when I goose it in first..WOW gotta be careful I don't hit it to hard or i'm sure i'll find myself laying on my back..Then Hitting it hard going into second same thing, looking at the blue sky...UNBELIEVABLE...I love this thing.. Thank you DaveS  Glad I took all the advise that people gave me here in BWB.. 90% said go for the full D&D..the others that didn't wasn't into the loud sound..but I'm sure if they found out how much more power it has they would do it..ask me..I was one of them..Not now!!! Thanks for the ride today Indy..had a great time, It was cool talking to all the Harley riders..looks like your Firebolt gets alot more attention than my X1 Lightning.. Must be that new frame..it is cool..New Header, New Pipe and you'll be rock'n...I didn't realize how late it was, I thought it was around 6:00 I got home at 8:00...wify wasn't happy...all is good...what's your plans for tomorrow? let me know.. | ||

Yea it was a good time. We need to get some of the other guys to come with us some time (hint hint if you are reading) Wife will get over it I'm sure. You're bike sounds great, it was almost embarassing how quiet mine is! Dont know about tomorrow, I've got some general chores to do around here, but I might be up for a ride in the afternoon if the weather is ok. I went down to the circle after we parted ways and ran across another Firebolt. Talked to the guy for a bit and he took off, I got his email address. Wasnt much happening there so I went home. | ||

Indy, I was riding down US 31 today around Westfield, and a Badass Camaro turned onto 31 just in front of me get'n it so naturally I had to check him so I brought the front wheel off the ground then hitting the throttle hard in second probably around 70mph or so pulled to the passenger side of the car and backed off the throttle in 3rd gear rummbling loud....He rolled down his passenger window and as I was about to lose him I looked over and saw 2 State Troopers sitting there both dropping there sunglasses to there noses I gave them the peace sign and backed off..we met up a few lights later side by side, and He asked me why I backed off, and I kind of laughed..he said go ahead and get on it I don't give a sh*t..I said really.. he says Ya lets see whatcha got..so I did bringing the wheel up in 1st and second and he was right there with me...gave me a thumbs up and said that's a badass bike nodding his head and parted ways...very cool moment..wish I had the video cam then.
