That's the second generation Buell Pro Series Seat. Much improved over stock and the Gen 1 Pro Series. Almost useable! |

Artflame has the turbo now, and Linda has bought the bike. Unfortunately funding the Dakar meant I had to sell it. I've kept the 120hp parts though. Maybe an XB1250R trackbike after Dakar....? Pete2 Dakar |

Too much black on a black Buell plus the motor has no black on it anyway so I intentionally kept the rocker cover shiny. Yellow because the switches are yellow - so I bought grips that have a little bit of yellow to match - and the wires are Axel 8.8mm, yellow and fat of course! Yellow heads seemed the obvious choice really. Anyway red heads are Ferrari territory. Rocket |

Those pics are all great. I'm happy to have an X1, but I would indeed welcome the original hooligan bike, the S1 into my man cave (garage). |

Rocket, shoot me that picture in a mail and I'll down-size it for you. As I mentioned before, it's not the size that matters (yeah - right ) - compression settings are key. You should find a "Save as ..." command in the file menu of most programs. In the resulting dialog box, you ought to find a slider or similar, indicating the amount of compression you want to apply. About 50% should do ya' Let me know if you want me to talk/write you through it. Henrik |
