don't know if I am in the right forum, but does anyone know of any good HD/Buell dealerships to do upkeep/maintenance/repair work in the chicago area. I live close to chicago hd/buell on Western Ave and was just wondering if anyone knows if they will treat me well if I ever take my bike in there. Or if anyone knows any other decent mechanics in the northern chicago area I would really appreciate it. Jake |

Chicago HD/Buell is very supportinve of Buellers -- the only service work I've had done is tires, but I know a couple of folks that have had extensive svc work done, with good results . . . . if they're close, give em a visit -- they have a fairly active BRAG chapter, as well ;-} |

If Chicago HD doesn't work out, try giving Illinois HD on Harlem a call. They have always been supportive of the Buell cause. Awsome people to do business with. |

I've been happy/satisfied with Lakeshore Harley in Libertyville. |

Go to IL Harley, chicago harley is good for parts from time to time, but if you look they still have a new never titled S3 on the floor, plus a few 03 firebolts, not a great dealer, and i doubt if they have sold a Buell in the last year Il, is a great deal, did right by me, and know the bikes, and the head Buell man is now the service manager so you know you will get good service, none better in the chicago area R |
