Just jetting?....nope, you need to also improve the beathing and exhaust. if not, then your jetting won't give you the improvment your looking for. JT |

Heres the thread http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=3842&post=407064#POST 407064 not sure what the stage 1 has in it, so I can't say whether it has what you need or not, |

I checked out the Dynojet website and the stage 1 would have what you need for jetting the carb. It should come with step be step instructions too. |

Save your money. Put in a 45 pilot and a 185 or 190 main jet. That will get you very close. Also pull the pilot screw plug and set the screw to about 2 1/2 turns out. It makes a world of difference. If your S1W has stock jetting, it's probably pretty lean. The full details are in the KV carberation section. Brad |

"Just jetting?....nope, you need to also improve the beathing and exhaust. if not, then your jetting won't give you the improvment your looking for." Carbureted Buells are jetted pretty lean from the factory. A fatter pilot jet isn't a bad idea even if you retain the stock intake and exhaust. |

Hello, I just recently obtained a 2001 cyclone m2 with 5600 miles. It has high flow intake and Supertrapp exhaust. I believe it is sick other than that. While riding it does sputter at times, although only for a split second. The guy I got it from said that it probably could use a larger carb jet or upgraded jet kit. Is this all that I would need to do to eliminate the sputter? This is only my second bike ever, first Buell. |
