Sam, I'm the director of the Southern California Club BRAG chapter sponsored by Biggs HD in Oceanside. If you send your pertinent info to me at alighton at adelphia dot net (formatted to thwart the spambots), or PM me with it, I'll keep you apprised of any local events. The next SCAB (So Cal Area Buellers, not BRAG affiliated) will meet at Knollwoods in Yorba Linda on Thursday, April 7th. A reminder will post on the So Cal section Shawn referred to. Al |

Yeah -- I've been hoping to find a group closer to the L.A. / Santa Clarita area myself. Oceanside is a bit too far to go on a regular basis... Steve. |

Wammy + 2k4xb12, Hey - the hotbed of Buell activity is So CA!! (I'm not prejudiced) Al Lighton is one of the true enthusiasts and has given plenty of sweat blood and tears to this area! I live in Palmdale - as well as a couple of others. If you're looking for something closer to home, we meet the last Sunday of the month at Glendale HD/Buell for our group ride (sometimes varies with holidays or other issues) - also we're doing a track day in Pahrump in June 11th and 12th. Last year we had over 25 Buellers in attendance and they even let us have a Buell-only session for 10 minutes. You shoulda heard the noise!!! (check the pic below) We also have a race group out of our Glendale BRAG group and now at Willow Springs will have anywhere from 10-12 racers between Glendale and Bartels on a typical race weekend. We're a pretty dang active group - NOT a bunch of street squids like so many other "regular" sportbike groups. We've got 8 licensed racers in our BRAG chapter - INCLUDING the Operations Manager of Glendale HD/Buell. Our group rides are pretty tame. I actually lead the "ticketless" group on our rides - I don't feel the need to go that fast on the street any longer (I'm painfully aware of how far a body slides/tumbles in a get-off). If you want more info - feel free to email me. Also email Candice Hurley to get put on the email list. Me (spambot disguised): qedqed ___at--- verizon...... ...dot... ___net___ Candice: 2whlnut ___at--- sbcglobal...... ...dot... ___net___ Willow Springs races are the 3rd Sunday of each month. Pic is our Mob at last year's track day in Pahrump Better yet, hang out with BOTH groups! (Edit) - Steve, I just looked at your profile - quite a few of our Mob is in the film/audio/related biddness. The 2nd SCAB (Southern California Area Buellers) gathering of the year is this Thursday Night (April 7th), 7:30 PM. It will be held at the same place as the last gathering, at Knowlwoods, located on Imperial at La Palma. This location is just a few miles further east on the 91 from the Press Box, the old SCAB meeting place. Coming from the east or the west, use the 91 Freeway and exit at Imperial. Go north on Imperial to the second light, which is La Palma. Turn left on La Palma and take the first driveway. Knowlwoods is up on the right....look for the bikes, a lot of different riders meet there. See you there! Al |

Erik Buell will be coming to our May races at Willow Springs Raceway - seems we've gotten their attention being the only BRAG club with so many active Buell racers. In May a few of the group will be transitioning to expert and I'll still be bitching about not racing yet . Race date: May 15th We'll have our usual group BBQ running so if anybody else shows up, just bring your own animal flesh to char. There's an Albertson's up the road from the track entrance a few miles if you don't wanna carry a dead carcass strapped to your handlebars all the way to Willow. No reservations required! Hope to see some new faces - and if you haven't yet met Erik, he's really an approachable guy |

WTF? This thread has been dead for too long. I'm gonna throw my hat into the ring. Saw a Red 12R on the freeway yesterday. I-10 @ Cedar Ave. Saw a blue Firebolt today out in moreno Valley. Day st. & Alessandro. Don't know if the riders are members of this board, but if they are, nice bikes, Gentlemen. Anyhoo, all you other Buellers in the San Berdoo area need to know you're not alone. Although company is thin it is growing. I'm seeing more and more Buells on the road. |

Charlie, I must see you do the "Happy Dance" live and in person. I'm gonna try and swing the trip. Had a little hiccup with the bank. Someone raided our account. The bank put the money back but didn't give us back the $270 some-odd in overdraft charges. Wells Fargo, I fart in your general direction, you empty-headed animal food trough wipers. Anyway were playing a little catch-up. But back to the dance...If I go you have to. Mark |

NO schlagger for me! The lack of memories from Saturday night and the ALL TOO clear memories of Sunday morning will live with me a long time! Thanks for the meds that morning btw as I think it made the wind, rain, sleet & hail that morning just "bearable". Bb, ouch, that doesn't sound good at all. Electronic raid or ID theft? The AZ Happy Dance? LOL. Be careful for what you ask for! |

I'll post this in the Southern California thread as well, but I'm in San Luis Obispo this week on a little getaway. Brought the bike for some good coastal riding and was wondering if there's anybody in the area that can recommend any decent bike friendly night spots or bike nights in the SLO/Pismo area. |

Hey all... Just moving here from New Mexico. That Columbus Day ride looks very inviting. Too bad my bike is still going to be on the truck. That and all my stuff won't arrive until at least the 18th, but after that, I'm looking to hook up with other buellers to ride. Get me on here for now until I get an email set up again. See ya... |
