Has anyone done the XB Rocker Cover mod that José describes on the DC BRAG site on an X1? I'm going to have my fuel tank off and I'd like to go ahead and do this, but I see that clearance was tight. Are the clearances different between an X1 and an S3? Thanks Angus |

Angus, I have performed the mod on my '02 S3 with no problems. As you described, the clearance between the PCV is close on the rear rocker box. I installed a couple of stainless washers under the tank rear mount before installing the bolt. Problem solved. Good luck. Todd |

I also did the mod under the careful eye of Jose. I did a little creative filing on the PCV valve and was able to fit it with no problem. You just need to play around with the location of the tubing and how it sits under your tank. |
