Dave, remind me in the next day or two to send you copies of the pics for Barcelona HD/BUELLS set up...a preview is in the AZ stormfronts section but I have more, when you see the amount of floor space this place has, and that 1/3rd is set up for Buells, with the other 1/3rd being split between V-Rods and the rest of the HD line...well its really quite amazing... | ||

I go away for 5 days to ride in the dirt in Northern Minnesota and you guys are still arguing race bikes. I bought mine to ride on the street. I don't give a rat's rear end what bikes are good race bikes. Yes, I ralize that it takes racing to develop and fine tune these machines but I don't see myself as a racer. I thought that it was just the Squids that went out and bought the latest race winner. | ||

Hmmmm.. On the Summit Point Race.. Things they really don't mention.. The Thunderbike race was stopped due to a bad three bike wreck in turn ten about 3 laps into the race. (pics to follow as soon as I can ge them sized right).. Art Diaz, who finished the race 5th, was riding a Frankenstein bike that was built on Saturday with the help of a lot of other teams loaning parts, labor, etc. I think Art totaled his bike on Friday (pics of the left overs to follow .. once they are resized) .. Uh.. let's see.. Dan Bilansky lost his chain (yep, pics when the other go up)four laps from the finish .. Other pictures of the action at turn ten/front straight at the same time as the rest.. Plus a few shots of those hardy/crazy/desperate whatever.. riders racing in the rain. Yeah, you guessed it.. when they're re-sized... Oh, and in case you're wondering.. they're all currently about 2.5 meg and need to be cropped and crushed before I can post them here.. | ||

Bigj, Not being an official Dutchy, I didn't get invited to vote, but having spoken to some that are, the general feeling is of concern for the Dutch socialist system (which is quite good at looking after it's citizens rights) being eroded. The other point is that, since the Euro came in, prices have gone through the roof here. I think people are just being cautious. Pete2 Dakar | ||

Hey Joshua.. Thanks for the space.. I guess the High Res thing is great for printing, but really sucks for posting.. For some reason, I got a lot of 'undeliverable' notices when I was trying to send you pictures last night. There were a bunch more and if it's a full mail box problem, let me know and I'll start re-sending some tonight. JNance is also helping out so we should soon have a lot of those pictures available for people to check out. Some of the racers have already gotten pictures of themselves and we may hear from them and see some of the 'other' pictures I took on their websites (hint hint Walt.. hehehehe) | ||

I *thought* I put them back in the box. They are not there, and I cannot find them. After a lot of looking, I have no idea where they might be. Would someone be able to email me a copy of them?
