I just got back from the hospital. They haven't figured anything out yet. She will probably be home tomorrow. Bobbie and I went and got her a grande mocha from Starbuck's, that made her feel a little better. She smiled when I gave her the 7 pages of get well wishes from all of you. Thank you very much! |

I just got off the phone with Kandie. They think it is a viral infection and are giving her some meds for it. They have one more test to run, then wait for the results before they will release her later today! I know she really wants to come home and see the dogs. At least it is good news that it isn't anything wrong with the heart itself and should be able to be cured! |

That's excellent news! I'm so happy & relieved to hear it. If it's viral a good 10 day run of meds should make her right as rain. |

Thank you everyone. All the ju ju worked. I'm home!! I still have chest pain and am short of breath but I will be fine. The best answer I could get from any of the doctors is it's stress and possibly a viral infection. Cardiac enzyme levels are back down to normal. Dyna I think you are right, 1yr & 1mo of separation anxiety has caught up with me. I'm planning on riding to Wisconsin next week and meet some of you. Hope Dave coming home early didn't interfere with anyone being able to get a part or anything. Thanks again for all the warm wishes. This Badweb family is the best!! Alex, I survived mowing the yard when I got home so I think we can go snowmobiling! I think you are safe from me kickboxing you across the interstate for awhile though! Penny...Welcome back to the real world. I bet Dave and Bobbie are elated at this point. Almost as much as you are, eh? Stress and anxiety attacks are serious stuff but they won't kill you. Best way to beat an anxiety attack is to go with the flow and chant it's a great day to die. For some reason that is the one thing that an anxiety attack can't tolerate. Trust me, I paid big bucks to learn that trick. For the Viral Infection, which I take much more seriously, enjoy the meds and the follow up visits to your MD. No sense in risking a relapse from that perspective. God, I am relieved to hear you are home so soon as is your all star supporting fan club of thousands! Perhaps millions if you are active on other boards. God Bless |

Yep,Kandie.I blame you for all the calls I got from New York because some silly S-2(Court) owner could not get ahold of Dave.I had to put my fire calls on hold and scour the country for a rear master cylinder for an S-2,oh the pain--- I hope it was just a bad case of indigestion and am glad to see you back home. |

Kandie: Mucho terrificata . . . I was calling Dave checking in and we're thilled to hear you are back in action. Yeah...it's been kinda crazy and I, personally, am harboring a modicum of guilt knowing that a family in CA nearly lost their house when the called in the fire call and the lines were tied up with 3 Buell dealers on the lines. Talkin' to Higgins is funny....anytime you are on the phone with him and you hear that buzzer/bell you know the converstaion will survive no "oh and just one more things....." Great to have you back...see you next weekend. Court P.S. - keep Dave there for a couple days...no one in the world of Buell needs a part worse than you and he need each other at the moment. |
