Got an 2000 M2...Did Buell have a slim version of the Tail section and seat available? I'm short legged and existing wide seat and tail section only compound my problems of reaching the ground without standing tipped toe'd. I bought a used S1 seat and tail section some time ago only to find it would fit but I would have to modify the rear frame to fit it. I've replaced the shock and front forks with the M2L's and it helped...now I've an opportunity to acquire a tail section and seat that is being advertised as "The slim version" for the M2. Was there such an animal? |

yes, pre99 m2's had a smaller slimmer seat & tank, should bolt up just fine w/no frame mods. |

absolutely right -- they will bolt up with no mods whatsoever there is a very slight difference in the frames' rear section -- it's a matter of a few degrees, which will have you sliding forward on the seat (as the seat and tailsection are raised very slightly when bolted to a post 98 frame) no biggie, easily lived with or fixed by trimming the foam -- |

Will the slim seat and tail work with the big tank? |
