Just wondering if theres a solution for mounting flush mount turn signals to the front fairing of an xb12r? Did a search but came up with nothing, Bought these signals which came with two sided tape so if I use them I have no way to secure the sides of the fairing, unless I use new bolts and drill a new hole for the wires. any help is greatly appreciated |

Everytime I mounted flush mounts, I had to drill 1 or 2 holes to mount them. If I could use an existing hole I did. I never worried about it because once they went on, I knew I wasnt going back to stock. |

Hey Buell12hundo I didn't want to cut a hole in mine, and I found a pair by Lockhart Phillips that fit great! I only had to turn them backwards for them to fit the flow of the bike and that little hump in the plastic - but at night when they light up, you can't tell that the light is facing backwards - they are bright as ever. I can't figure out how to upload pics to this website without most of them being too big - and I have no idea how to make them smaller - so if you are interested, email me at katie.copp@gmail.com and I will send you a picture of what they look like. I think they look sweet! Buell should make some that are flush mounted instead of just those tiny ones that stick out about an inch. I'm not a fan! Trust me, these signals look Awesome! |

Can someone please tell me how to edit my pictures so I can put them up here? They are always too big!!! Also - I can't find the info on the signals, I thought I had the package still - but I will look for my receipt tonight when I get home from work for a part number or something. If someone can help me with pics I can post some of them on my bike as well. Thanks! |

I purchased my bike with something similar. I'll be honest, they just don't fit right because of the way the fairing is designed. Mine also had foam behind the turn signal to account for the ill fit. I ended up replacing the front and rear with some smaller Lockharts (the arrow shaped ones). They look much better than the factory (I feel) and really compliment the bike. I really need to take some new picks of the bike. |

Sorry! I am trying really hard to find that receipt - I thought I had kept the packaging, but apparently I didn't! What do you think of those signals? I think that they look great - and from a distance you can't tell that they are backwards, lol. We currently have four bikes - my Fiancee's Harley and two old bikes that don't run that we are in the process of fixing up. Hey Pcmodeler - were your flush mounts the same as these? also Cruisin - Thanks for getting my pics up there - How'd you do it?} |

Yeah, I think that I'm going to call it quits, lol but I picked them up for about 15 bucks at Performance Cycle of Colorado - and their website doesn't have pictures on it - If I come across it I will let you know - I like the clear w/ amber bulb idea! That would be sweet... |

DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!! http://www.ridegear.com/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/store/product/F-3762_Flush_Mount_V. html?E+scstore I found them. Check out this website - and, hundo, the set shown has a clear lens. It does look sweet. Dang, I knew I would find them sooner or later, lol. They also come with Clear lens and Yellow bulb. That would be interesting! Send me over some pics of your bikes (anyone) if you do get them! I would love to see them. Thanks! |
