For those that are interested. I purchased the Field Armor Vest and thought I'd share this info with you. Actually, the wife got it for me for my Birthday,  , gotta love her, she surprised me with it. She knew I wanted it and thought about ordering it from Dave, but she beat me to it and ordered it from somewhere else. I'm 5'11" with a 44" chest. The chest plate on the armor is right above the sternum. The armor offers padding in the front and the back, with the back protector on the outside. The spine protector starts at the top of the shoulder blades and extends down to the lower back. You can pull this over your head and it fastens in the front with velcro. There are also adjustable straps on the shoulders. I have noticed that it tends to ride a little high on the shoulders, but not annoying for me. It fits comfortably underneath my jacket and I feel NO limited restrictions on movement. I can bend over and touch my toes while wearing it with no problems, just don't try doing a backflip or bending over backwards. You can straighten you're back, but you won't bend over backwards to far. I've never worn any other spine protectors, so I can't compare it to them, but this one feels like I could take a good whack in the back and keep on going.     I have higher resolution photo's.
