Well we finally made it! Actually we made it about a three weeks ago, but have been busy cleaning up and painting the new house. The trip out from Vegas was uneventful and went a lot smoother than planned other than over $1,000 in gas for the Uhaul. The new house, well that is a different story. Everything structurally is "sound" but the lady that lived there has not cleaned the house in at least 5 years! Interesting story that I found out was that she was one of the original "Jane"'s from the old Tarzan shows. Her husband, who was a popular musician as well, died some time ago and she just gave up on the house I guess. We have been working like mad, and at least have the house liveable and the pool no longer looks like a frog pond! Every night after work I am painting or rebuilding some portion of the house. I really don't mind because it is OUR house. The riding here is excellent! I have the most beautiful ride to work every morning. I get to see the sun come up, and drive around lake Monroe where I get to see the Alligators doing there morning thing along the edge. Hopefully we will be ready for a barbecue before the middle of June. Thats it for now, I have to head back to work. Nick |

I too just bought a house (in CT) and have had some long days painting & various other projects in the evenings. Keeps me busy and out of trouble though! One of my buddies just came over to help me move some stuff and then we went on a pretty good ride (about 90 miles) on some back roads. Good luck with the house Vegas! Nick, Don't forget to keep the Lakeland BRAG rides in mind (first Sat. of each month). I live just off I4 ~2 miles south of downtown Orlando and try to make these rides. If you want to meet up and head over June 4 get back to me between now and then. Frank That scenic route on the Enterprise side of Lake Monroe is a good ride. |

Igemar: I am in a small town called Deltona, just Southwest of Daytona. Nice little place away from all the city life, but close enough to get there without having to pack lunch. Cataract: We'll do the party man! I just need to get caught up on the house work. Ohh yeah I get two long sweepers every day...getting on and off the interstate Thanks to all you guys for the well wishes. I will defintely try to make one of the Orlando runs. That sounds like fun! I have to find a dealer close by to get an oil filter because it is about that time again. Jake: I'll give you a shout bro. I have to head back to work guys. See ya all later Nick |

Vegas- I hope your SC genes have kicked back in; it must be a big shock going from ~20% humidity back to ~90% humidity weather! |

Work?? Sounds like you need a "sick" day to go riding. Seriously, the Lakeland guys ride every month so hopefully you can make a ride soon. I wonder if Seminole HD will consider a BRAG after their move whenever that they be. I hear early '06 now. Frank |

Thanks Ken! Hopefully we will get set on some sort of schedule at work and I will get some time off. Overtime last week was over 40 hours! I enjoy the check, but I also wanna get out and explore some as well. Maybe we can all take a trip over to Tampa, etc. I think we got our first "welcome to Florida" yesterday with the storms. We had winds in excess of 80 mph at the airport. It turned over small planes and really made a mess out of things. Nick |

yeah nick, that was some mighty nasty weather...i was out in it.... not on the bike though...and just my opinion...i haven't ridden with the brag group yet,and i lived in tampa for awhile and i can't remember any decent roads, unless they ride out around st.leo or zepherhills??? so my thinkin is iv'e got nice twisty usually uncrowded roads less than 30 minutes from me. guess thats why iv'e never been on a brag ride there...like i said just my opinion....and you know how those are. let me know how it is. mike |

What's funny, that weather was south of me. It looked like the heavens would open on us here in Brevard. Never had a drop. Sigh. ruined my afternoon ride. (That I shouldn't be doing because I'm started to have the cord showing in spots on my rear tire.) |

Welcome to Central Florida, but watch out for the SHERIFF in the bushes on the scenic route on the Enterprise side of Lake Monroe. He DOESN'T like motorcycles or the people who ride them. |

Cataract: Possibly. I'll let you know as next week progresses. Where do you have in mind? Al: I havent seen him yet, just the gator there near the "bar out back" that I see almost every morning at sun up. AA: I havent had the chance to really explore the area. I have to say though that the curviset places I have found thus far have been the on and off ramps. Nick |
