Great meeting last night. Ya'll rule! I'm glad it put off raining so far. I got up and went for a ride so my Friday off wouldn't be totally on four wheels. The weekend is looking good for motorcycle riding the crooked roads of North Georgia. New12r, and B_A, thanks much for the hospitality, it's a good thing I didn't have to get up at five to go to work! Buell666, LightningDave, good riding last night. I was hotternell at the V good thing we left when we did, I was about to burst into flames. Congrats to Charlie, and Mike! Our new Ride Coordinators Ya'll will do us proud I'm sure. |

I'm riding today, but it will be through downtown Atlanta. Better than nothing I guess. Going down to meet the wife at one of her all expense paid business conferences. NICE! Not sure where the Westin hotel is but that is where I will be this afternoon. |

and Bambi picked up my new set of Michelin Pilot Powers today!! What a woman! I figure three or four good burnouts and my Dunlops will be Dun. I betcha Buell666 could show me how to perform a burnout properly! |

IM SURE I COULD, BUT IM ALSO SURE THAT WHOEVER IS HEAD OF OPERATIONS OVER THERE AT DUNLOP IS A BURNOUT AS WELL. THE ONLY GOOD USE I FOUND FOR THE DUNLOPS WAS BURNOUTS. I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHOW YOU HOW ITS "DUN". |

New12r, I'm sure jimmy will be calling you. The back protector came in handy today. Gigsaw-AKA-JimmyGSXR had a bad spill on 60 north at the 'knee dragging corners' by the trail head. I never have seen a bike go into so many pieces and a rider walk away.Glitch found the speed and tach cluster hanging in a tree about 10 feet or so he grab it be the wires to get it out. He went into the corner with to much corner speed and the front slid out. He and the bike went across the road right into the drive off that gos about 150 feet or so that cars turn around on. He went between two trees that each had a rock about 2 and a half feet tall and about 3 or so feet in diameter and missed both. The next time I have my truck up I'm moving the rocks out of harms way. Can't do anything about the trees. I wounder how many people have hit those rocks. It weird how many times I've been through those turns and never notice before. I'm just glad he was o.k, if the bike isn't totaled its not far.On the way out I saw another wreck. He walked away also. |

RIZOMA rear control sets SUCK A--! P-ss poor design. I was told not to post this if I wanted to sell them. I will be posting pictures of the problems. I'm going to have to mod this 600 dollar part. The shifter linkedge is p-ss poor. The left foot control is hitting the case when you hit ANY bump in the road. I now have a nice indention in my case. I'm showing everyone this. I will take this piece off and have it cut at a buds shop that has a cmc machine or maybe cut it with a jig saw. I will also be sending a letter to Rizoma with pics of this. I can't even understand how a manf. could even produce such an p-ss poor f------- product! I can't even put this product on E-bay cause its not worthy. 'Until I modify it! A 600 dollar part! |

I WENT THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION WITH MY RIZOMA TAILPIECE/CHEESE GRATER ELIMINATOR. THEIR PRODUCTS ARE NOWHERE NEAR AS GREAT AS THE MONEY THEY ASK FOR THEM. THEY SUCK. |

That's terrible about Jimmy....Glad he walked away! Could of been much worse, it sounds like. My weekend was pretty fun. We trailered up on Friday. Good thing because it rained buckets. I was about 20 miles north of The Dragon. We pretty much rode all over except The Dragon. The Foothills Parkway and 129N of Deal's Gap. Good thing because there was a rally that consisted of 20,000+ bikers. Glad we didn't get in that mess. It started at Smokey Mountain H-D/Buell. They had 4 Buells...1 XB12S, 1 XB12R, CityX, and uno Blast. Huge Dealership and very nice. It use to be a Lowe's I believe. I was the ONLY Buell and 1 of 4 sport bikes out of the 150+ bikes. But , I went in knowing that. It was fun to ride with my Mom and Stepdad. "One of these things is not like the other.....One of these thing just don't belong" Great landscapes Stopped by a car show near Gattlenburgh. All Stoudabakers (sp). Thought you would like these, Stealth. Eventhough you are a FORD man. I represented the 3%ers well...so I hoped Best part is that we left about 9:00 this morning and I couldn't bear the thought of 4 1/2hrs with my pony cooped up in a trailer so I rode home. From Chattsworth down Hwy52 through the Cuhutta Wilderness on to Ellijay is a Kicka$$ mountain run. Would be a great ride.(hint..hint). I made that run in 19 mins. |
