I like the compliments and wheelies! When I come up to a bump in the road, I like to accelerate and pull up on the front end!! Instant wheelie in any gear! Well, I have'nt tried fourth or fifth.

Super-wide powerband and second-to-none engine braking so I'm not going through all my gears when I ride the twisties.

After riding mine for a while I can say that what I like best on my XB is the fit & feel. I feel more at home on this bike than any other.
I love that it's a little torque monster yet is predictable & controllable.

i like the wheelies in 3rd at 150km/h on deer infested backroads thru valleys at dusk ..

i like other bikers hating me (or, looking suspiciously at US) .. i like they are gay & i am all manly straight as a line!!!

i like that they are jealous coz they know its nearly as pricey as a duke, but not as fast as any of the race replicaksa

i like that it gives me a really sore neck from wind & helmet blast.

i like that it barks & back fires on engine breaking ... i like that i feel frightened by it yet trust it not to kill me!!

i like that i cld slow enough NOT to hit the elk last night .. stupid animal!!

i like its american & as track oriented as a nascar is to rallying!! ; )

oh buell, buell, buell .. u make me act like a fuell!! ; )

out.

I happen to like pulling in to local bike nights, and have a bunch of people who don't know what it is give it as much attention as the $50k+ chrome dildo mid-life-crisis mobiles.

At least I got my mid life crisis at 80% off.

Oh yeah, and it wheelies nice, too!

The way it makes me fell planted in the corners, the sound, the stand alone look and how light it feels after fueling

It's FUN. Great compromise between a completely focused performance bike and a unique bike with individual character. Sounds and feels NASTY, still handles well.
Also, IMO the quality and design of the XBs is on par with Japanese bikes, which was also important to me.

As Paul/Vonsliek said "i like that it barks & back fires on engine breaking ... i like that i feel frightened by it yet trust it not to kill me!!"

Would sum it up perfectly for me.. plus the looks from most of the other bikers ..What the HECK is that thing ?????

it fits my riding style perfectly, just right for riding to work, running cross town errands, and still just right for thousand mile days.
the electrical system is very impressive, last weekend i ran it for 24 hours with a heated vest, heated grips, (3) 55 watt halogens, and an HID lo beam. no problems.
i do recommend a corbin saddle for any rides longer than 8 or 9 hours. the stocker is a bitch after half a day in the saddle.

It created, stirred, and congealed a passion in me.

Took 15 years for someone to make another bike that could pry the $$$ from my tight, over budget, little pocket. The XB put me over the edge.

Just when I'd had enough of my X1 I saw an XB in a dealership, what a friggin machine. The only other bike I can stare at that long is the MV Agusta, and if it were 10k......

It's the most beautiful naked bike around, the attention to detail, form and function can be found on no other motorcycle.

second-to-none engine braking so I'm not going through all my gears when I ride the twisties.

Eh? I don't think my XB9S is at all strong in that department and it's not even close to my Husky SM610.

Or is it just me??

super nimble, great suspension, great riding position for me on the 9S. Wonderful track day bike. Deer in headlights look from other bikers (what was that?)
