flawless Shoei X-Eleven Norick 5 TC-1 model, size M (7-1/8 - 7-1/4, 57-58 cm), fits narrow heads better than my Arai (read: fat) head, brand-new never-seen-a-bug faceshield, includes Shoei carry-bag. this helmet HAS been worn, has about six months use, has NEVER been dropped, is easily a 9.95 on a scale of 10. Shoei's suggested retail is $659.99. if you shop around you can find this helmet for about $550. i'm asking $275 (plus shipping). PM me if you're interested. this helmet is very, VERY nice. it's exceedingly light, the shield comes off/goes on in seconds, and the ventilation quality is superb. DOT and Snell approved. more info on the X-Eleven (Message edited by jerry_haughton on May 08, 2005) |

Jerry, let me see if I can try on an X-11 tommorrow and see how it feels, if its good, I will try and talk the money lender into it as she knows I need a new helmet and is understanding that the Arai I wear at work has gotten me spoiled. However if someone else with wants it, don't wait on my account. |

cool Mikel. like i said above it likes a little bit narrower head. this helmet is the best i've ever owned, much nicer than my brand-new Arai, but just a skosh tight around the ears after a 500-mile day (plus it clashes with the Galaxy Blue FJR ). the ventilation is AWESOME, again much better than my Arai, and the ease of taking the shield off and putting it back on makes Arai's shield system seem like a cruel hoax against humanity. keep me posted. Sorry Jerry, its way too tight across the temples for me. Had it on for 5 seconds and it was already starting to give me a headache, an affliction that all the Shoei models I tried out seemed to do...a Large was too loose ... sorry I ran into delays all week and spaced on getting back to you. |
