If people are going to show, I'm in. If nothing else let's go drip dry in Sam's garage. I haven't seen him since he took his XB to Co. |

Zues my Book is a popup. I just don't want anyone to feel left out! I will be there for sure, especially if we end up at Sams for good conversation and Beers, soda, and laughs. I think a run to Lawrence would be fun?? Back-roads, Mass street, ice tea or something? |

Duff and I went to the Club House Grill for Bike Night last night. No rain at all. There were only a few bikes there. The clouds must have scared some people. |

So there were these two guys checking out our Buells last night. It was fun watching them from a distance trying to figure out where the fuel was! After talking with them, they made the comment "If you have a Buell, you have to ride in the Buell clique, right? I only see Buells riding in big packs". My response "Yes, we like to ride together. Its called brand loyalty". |

Zeus, There is a thread on the Old School Buell titled "S2 Rotor Noise" A fellow Badwebber needs the part # for the little discs and bolts that hold the floating front rotor. His local dealer is telling him he has to buy the entire front rotor assembly. I bought the little discs and bolts from Central for like 3.00 a peace...If you get a chance could you get the part number to that thread for Waldo. Thanks....Larry |

Hello all! I’m a little new to this culture and am being sucked in rather quickly. I met Sam (Shazam) the other day when I bought a pair of his mirror adapters (they work great by the way!) and spoke to Larry (Kccyclone) yesterday on the phone about my noisy front rotor. Zeus, even if I do put new discs and bolts in my front rotor, won’t it just start rattling again after 2k miles of heat flatten the new discs out too? Tripper, Larry told me you would be the man to talk to about a different seat for an S1. My seat is like one I’ve never seen before, it’s perfectly flat. This ‘allows’ me to slide backward during quick acceleration. I’d like to have a seat that holds my butt in place a little better. I tried the new Corbin, but it didn’t fit worth a crap and I wasn’t willing to spend $250 (which I can’t afford anyway) on a seat I was going to have to modify. To me ‘custom made’ means ‘should fit like a glove.’ |

I'm thinking a nice ride to Lawrence???????? What do you guys think? Mass street is always fun. If it is easier for everyone the meet up in Olathe at my and larry's house chime in all, cause we can meet up here as well. I say this cause it sounds like only Olathe based people are showing up tonight? |

Any particular brand/model of raingear anyone really likes? I have waterproof liners for my jacket/pants, but I think I want to stop the rain before it soaks in..... Company picnic is at Worlds of Fun tonight. Rain or "shine", darn it.... Have fun riding. (Message edited by dustyjacket on May 13, 2005) |
