So here is my problem. I like the stock riding position, but hate the look of the handle bars. I am 5'4 and dont want the hunched over crotch rocket look, but want some different handlbars. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am planning on getting the blackburn mirrors if I can find them. Havent looked around for them yet. The local harley dealer isnt to helpful with buells, especially with blast parts. |

I have Azonic CR low bars. They are moto-X bars and they look and feel great. Got'em from Cycle Gear for $30. (Message edited by blaster_s on May 11, 2005) |

Thanks. Have you had any problems with removing your belt guard? I was thinking about it myself. |

Chapparrel also sells superbike bars (black or chrome), just like XB bars (or the moto x without the bar),fit without a problem and are about $22 with the shipping. They are the bars the Blast should have come with. See the links section for website. (Message edited by gearheaderiko on May 11, 2005) |

The crossroads bars are pretty low and much farther forward. If you don't want to tuck (to a greater or lesser extent), you don't want the crossroads bars. They aren't quite as low as clipons, but they are about 1-1.5 inches farther forward. |

There are pics of the Crossroads bars and XB/superbike bars all over badweb. Do a search for both. The XB/superbike bars will put you into a standard riding position, slightly leaned forward. The Crossroads are really aggressive and you will be leaning forward alot. I'm 5'6" and the Crossroads will put me in the crotch rocket position. EZ's Profi adjustable clip-ons or the Laverda bars would be a better choice for the money (actually cheaper than crossroads)and give you adjustability to both the XB & Crossroads positions. |
