I need to know if a 2000 x1 lighting swingarm will fit on a 96 s1 lighting ?? |

Short answer....yes. Longer answer....I believe you need to swap the swingarm mount also. In addition, the rear axle adjusters are not the same. I'm not sure if the rear axle and spacers are the same but you may want to check that also. Oh yeah....S1 rear fender won't work either. |

heres the deal,, yes,, can use you old mounting block with slight modification, will need new axle adjuster and adjuster bolts, can use you stock axle but is too long so have to add washers or just get the newer axle, and will need new bolt to bolt the shock to the swingarm, and will probably want to repack the swingarm bearings so the two swingarm seals are a good purchase too. a al style fender if you wish. did the conversion on my s2 and will be posting picks, some one e-mailed me a battle twin article that i would gladly pass along if you so wish. hope this helps, any questions feel free to ask.. |

thats really nice Ill post up a pic of my s1 tomorrow . I did some mods to it tell me what you think. im still not done with it yet but its getting there |
