Your local dealer or one of this sites sponsors should be able to hook you up. about $27 a side if I remember correctly. |

Give one of the sponsors a call. Any of them will ship to you and I think all or most will give you a 10% discount. |

The Buell (bold about 1/16" tall) white letters with "American Motorcycles" stickers are decal M-0777.K part number (January 2006) and the local Harley Dealer (Thanks Tom!) got them for me. Under $18 each plus tax, and they look great! |

I having my decals taken off and putting on the chrome ones. will this damage the finish in any way. im having the Dealer do it since im out of the country and he is worried they wont come off properly and wanted to just put the new ones on over the old. i told him to heat them up....think i read that somewhere here. Warm them with a hair drier and use dental floss to get under them and cut them off. |

Hell, just warm them with a hair dryer and you can pull them right up. |

You can have them custom made. Use a reverse block decal made out of paint mask and you can paint the image on instead of worrying about the peeling problem. Here is a decal guy that I emailed questions about making some for me when I go to paint mine. He seemed easy to work with. http://www.fastdecals.com/quikstore/buell |

So it's easy to remove the letters off the airbox cover; but then how do you get the sticky crap off the back of each letter? And what is the best 'sticky crap' to use to refit the decals again? I've used automotive trim double-sided tape before, would probably do for this. I'd like to paint a spare cover for my bike colour change, and hope to reuse the existing decals. The alternative is to mask off the letters, but this is not perfect. |
