Last week my kickstand flew off my bike after hitting a bump here in New Orleans. I night before I had parked my xb12s on grass at a outdoor concert and some girls had been all over my Buell. The kickstand had sank into the grass deep and put to much of a angle on it. At least this what I think happened because it was all bent up. So anyway it was Friday afternoon I had just installed my new D&D from daves and had no kickstand, not even daves had one in stock! I called the service department at HD Baton Rouge and told the service manager David my problem.(this where I purchased the bike 6 months ago) They didnt have a stand in stock either. Crap!! Jazzfest was going on this weekend and I had planned to ride with a friend to see it. So I asked David if we could pull a stand off a brand new xb12s they had sitting on the showroom floor. He does some checking and 20 minutes later calls me back and tells me to haul from New Orleans and we are a go! I snap on my tank bag, mp3 player, gear and laying on my tank bag jamming to the sounds of acdc make the 66 mile trip in record time. They had me back on the road in a hour and half with a new stand! Now I should point out that the xb12s they took the stand from was the only one left at their place, which means they wouldnt be able to sell it over the weekend. Also it was a very busy Friday for them to get me in and out same day. Anyway guys I know some of us have had some very bad experinces with HD dealers and our Buells. So I thought I would share a good one with you. 10000 miles on mine so far and loving it! Later going for a ridee now. Art |

OH Crap. I'm in Slidell, about 1 hour from HD of Baton Rouge. I asked them last week if they could pull the clutch cable off a new bike to replace my fraid one (under warranty). The guy said he can't. What kind of mojo effect did you have on these guys??? I'm still waiting on my cable to come in! |

. Besides the good price I got on the bike, I feel like everytime I go there I get screwed some how. |

With all the crap we post and read about Buell dealers, it's good to hear about the positive experiences. WYD |

I too have been treated very well at BRHD/B. Had an upper fork tube replaced on a Saturday, while I waited. |

Is there something I am missing? I am currently in the market for a buell, is there a problem with warranty issues or just dealers attitudes? |
