I should, but I haven't had a chance to ride yet this year and I think I just want to get some saddle time in. I also have to work Saturday night so I want to get back in the early afternoon to grab a nap. |

thanks Mikej - i'll definitely be on the brewcity stormfront when i get to town. for now, i think i'm good with where i'm looking - essentially all milwaukee downtown loft condos - in the third ward, brewers hill, possibly brady street areas looking forward to meeting you when i get there! |

There are a lot of conversions going on in the Third Ward. I know of one whole building that's for sale for the right price and may flip to condo shortly thereafter, but has a long-time owner in no real hurry to sell it. Keep us posted. |

...and this makes bike #3 and vehicle #5 in my "fleet"from My New Toy thread You will have a hard time finding parking for 5 vehicles in the downtown area. From what I have seen of the condos, you may get 1 space included in the purchase price. Good luck looking, there are a lot of nice condos downtown. There are also a lot of EMPTY condos downtown. I would try to drive a hard bargain. The Milwaukee condo market has been on the rise for the last few years, it is due to bust. my 0.02 cents, Of course I no longer own my house in Milwaukee!!! |

i know i know i know. i have to find friends who dont live in the city, or live in chicago, who may fall victim to being foster homes for my fleet if i dont get enough assigned parking. the place thats at the top of my list now, will be street parking for my 2 jeeps, and inside nook/cranny parking for my 2 bikes (the 3rd bike is in texas at my parents) |

In the past when the weather has being good we have seen close to 10,000 in attendance. This is a great party lots of great bikes and sites. All of our race teams will be on full display and the speedshop will be open to the public as well. So if you can make it, make it a point to find me and I'll give you the personal tour. Be sure to bring your rain gear! As always, Wisconsin's weather is as fickle as can be this time of year. What started out to be a beautiful weekend is now forecasted to be showers and thunderstorms. Perhaps our road cleaning monsoon season is finally here. For me, this means the long haul to see Spidey work is out of the question (sorry Bud), but a 4 mile jaunt to Hal's is still a go, but then that's Harley Country and my local riding pals for me. Road condition update: Gosh as of Wednesday, the slippery residue from the winter salting is still all over some of the best roads in the Kettle especially on the lesser traveled and twistiest sections. If you see bright or shiny white embedded gravel asphalt, ride wisely. The stuff is normally a little slippery but with the byproducts of winter still on it, it gets worse when you least expect it. FYI, the black asphalt is great and waiting anxiously to be strafed. Not a good place to risk life and limb with excessive lean angles. When I got home, I could have taken a pic of the Buell with a photoshopped desert background and it would have looked like I just ran Bonneville. LOL Update Washington County: Be on the alert for Washington Counties new Squads. Typical large unmarked cars in off white or pearl white with the lowest (streamlined) profile Xmas trees I have ever seen. Not to mention the Xmas trees blend in with the car's profile and are coated in the same color as the car. Most certainly a giant leap forward for them concerning stealth. |

Hey Spidey...Just might do that! Jenny...Not to worry about the "R-Word." Most of the time it is hit and miss anyway. I just wonder why we keep listing to the weather liars in this part of the country. |
