Ok, I've been lurking long enough. I bought this X1 last January and have put over a thousand winter miles on it... Here's the before and after (so far).

Bought my '03 XB9S about a month ago! Been grinnin since I grabbed the first hand full of throttle! These bikes are a BLAST to ride. Still getting used to all the noise from the rockerboxes though. |

Looking over all of these awesome Buell pics. Just wanted to add a picture of my baby too. Thanks for having such a valuable and enjoyable website! |

Well, here they are. Except for two final additions (heated grips + an XM Roady Satellite Radio Receiver and Speakers) my Frankenbuell is completed. I've tried to turn it into more of a sport touring bike in the BMW tradition than a lot of Buells are. My first long trip (Iowa-Northern Georgia) is this week.

Ok, here's one from a 'Dealer Event' I went too a little while ago, a friend wondered which of these subjects could be ridden harder.. Yes, the bike is mine.. (Message edited by blublak on April 28, 2005) |

Damn, I'm not sure if this is a Buell or not? That looks like a V-Twin to me? Either way that's an awesome bike. This bike was the pic of the day on www.bikepics.com on 4/28/05

You are probably right. I recognize the air intake scoop from a Yamaha. They used to make a bike called a Yamaha Fazer that I was in love with when I was in High School. Loved the looks of that bike with the big chrome air intakes. Don't think they make them anymore, not sure. |

Probably not the best place for the battery. Looks like the chain might shred it. |

Thanks Mikej! 50% of the business is now motorcycles. We came back with 4 first place trophies in Daytona and had 3 photo shoots. Thanks again! |
