This seller has a large number of discs for sale... they have part numbers printed on them, but the don't look like factory discs.

Just ask Court about that one. You will find out the only manual is the nice hard copy one. The guys on ebay are doing it wrong. Contact DaveS and he'll get you one at the right price.

I actually have the manuals I need. I posted simply because I was skeptical. I think it is a shame that people try to make money by repackaging someone else's product.

I bought one and it's not that good of quaility, some of the pages are missing, and some versions will not print. It is made from a manual that some one chopped up and scanned into the computer. I have a licenced version but the digital copy is nice to have at work when my manual isn't available. Buy the real deal you won't regret it, it's worth the money.

I didn't buy one, but a friend sent me a copy of a bootleg service manual.

Too be perfectly honest with you, even though it appears to be a complete version, it is virtually useless without a Scanalyser (SP) Tool.

I have learned much more on the BWB than I ever will out of this manual. One of these days I am going to check out the real McCoy at the Dealership and see if I am missing something. Right now, all I can say is the service manual I got with my Dyna Wide Glide is one heck of a lot better.

Incidentally, as I have professed before, I believe in a companies rights and their obligation to protect themselves from all violators. I just wanted to add these comments now that I finally have had a chance to check out a bootleg version.

I got the real thing. Infact, I think it is now 1.5 times fatter with all my dirty figerprints and bent pages from being used. I wouldn't want to have to run in the house everytime I needed to look something up.

Koz...I just print out the page(s) I am concerned with for the moment. Translation: Always clean copy and I enter notes in letter form and file it in the appropriate folder.

Personally, I like having the service manual on CD for this purpose. Heck, I can always print it out and keep it in a binder and replace the pages as needed.

The inverse is, if a manufacturer sells a CD of the Manual, they may not sell as many compliments of friends making copies for friends. I guess that makes it a Lose-Lose situation.
