S1H - I'm around some, just busy. Everyone is going to BRAG meeting Tuesday, right? I am in for an Iron Butt this summer, I will set a map out for tomorrow. Might be a challenge to have a route that has a balance between fun roads/makin' time/ and having access to gas. Looks like a sunny ride on Sunday. Will I be banished if I show up on a borrowed bike? The XB is apart for service. | ||

Good BRAG meeting tonight. Ed and Steven, nice to meet both of you. The club is looking for another place to hold meetings. If you have any ideas please post them. We agree that we would like: - Windows - Visibility for us, so that other people can see how cool we are - Less smoke Cheap food and drinks seem like a good idea too. This month’s ride will be to Tillamook. We will meet this Sunday at 10am, at Paradise Buell. We decided that rides will be the Sunday following the group meetings, so we could plan the ride at the meeting. | ||

Roc, Glad to hear the meeting place will be changed. I only ask that we maybe do it an hour earlier, and closer to Vancouver (Portland). Less smoke is a very good idea. Sorry we did not make the meeting. We will not be able to make the ride Sunday either. We have way to much to get done before we leave for Maui on Tuesday. We will be there next month for sure! What is the name of the place down down? is it Kelly's Olympian? We could'nt have it earlier though if you have it downtown due to traffic issue. There would be no way for most people to make it in time after getting off work. | ||

Hey Everyone, It's been a long time and a lot of miles since I posted. Been all over the lower 48 hauling construction equipment and other big stuff. Haven't ridden my bike in over a year. I hope to sell my Daytona this summer with an eye toward buying a different bike with less extreme riding position. I probably will not be able to make a purchase this summer but still hope to participate in this year's Border Raid. I plan to rent a bike for the event. Beside Harley, anyone know where I can rent a bike? I have not been home in four months although I did meet my wife in Calgary three weeks ago to attend a workshop. I am now able to access the internet while I am on the road so at least I can ride vicariously through y'all by reading of your exploits. Everyone be safe.... Paul Lusk | ||

I have been trying to get her to take the bike out, but not having much luck. She is not ready to hit the highway or ride in rain, ect. But I will keep trying, I already told her, if you dont get on the bike and ride soon, we will sell it and I will buy a Derbi | ||

Shotgun, you might have caught us yet. We were a little late leaving, Paradise had good coffee and pancakes, then Irish got into a fistfight with the guy at the gas station - well almost. Macavite, Irish, Nicole - thank you for comming out, otherwise S1H and I would have stayed in town looking for a strip club open durring church hours on a Sunday. FunJimmy, You are more then welcome to attend any and all Brag rides. You are also welcome to stay in our spare bedroom if needed. The bed is a little hard if you ask me but others say they didn't notice. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the ride, it was good fun and we hope to have many many more like it. Shotgun, sorry to hear about the screw, you could have made it, we were still at the gas station next to Paradise when you got it back together. Should have called my cell and told me to stall. You guys suck! The spring conditions here are starting to turn really nice now. I have some great roads for ridding but I really miss ridding to the coast. Did you guys take the Beaver Creek route? Sounds like Steve got screwed out of the ride, ha ha. Picked up a new toy for the M2, oh baby's got some pop to it now. See if you can guess what it is from this pic. Skyline Cafe makes an awesome breakfast. Most of them are bigh enough for 2 people. Cash only, no credit cards. But I thought we were looking for a place for meeting nite? Either way it works for me. | ||
