If anyone needs to get some maintance parts go to Central, they had a bunch of pro seriers spark plugs , plug wires, I got a clutch cable, my brother got a new belt, just talk with Zues. | ||

Went back to Central this afternoon, got a 12 airbox, 04 mirrors (the 03 ones suck), and a clutch lever. Just so everyone with a Blast knows, Zues told me that he had a bunch and a bunch of Blast parts in stock. So jerk named Paul took the last clutch lever Central had so I couldn't get one of them, I won't name any names but Paul why would you need a clutch lever? | ||

It is the airbox from an XB12, I replaced my XB9 airbox with it, it is supposed to add horsepower and flow better then the 9's airbox. | ||

I see. Has anyone resolved the sharp edge on the Blast airbox cutting the breather line, other than taking it off and filing the edge down? | ||

Another thing about Gails, why would I want to buy anything from a disorgainized dealer. The parts manager tells me every month that they have not ordered any Buell parts because they are not organized from the move and have no space for them. Why would the parts not be organized, you move into a new building, did you just through everything in there and say we will sort it out later. Just my 2 cents but you have lost a customer. The dealership is supposed to earn my business, I should not have to earn the right to be a customer and have respect. I am done, I can get what I need else where. If my business in advertising was ran like this we would be bankrupt in about 2 months, you do not pick and choose your customers, you open your arms for all to come no matter how much they spend, and then you hope you make a profit. You do not overcharge your customers because that will leave a bad taste in their mouth and they will take their business else where, even if it cost more or is more work to get completed. Just my 2 cents. | ||

As soon as I can save up enough money I'm gonna' upgrade and buy me a blast to replace my poor ole' slow a** tube framer as I think the XB's would be way to much for me to try to handle...mmmm let's see a Buell Blast with a 4.00 inch bore and a 3.875 stroke and a xb front head with 1.90 intake and 1.615 exhaust valves a 45 Mikuni carb jetted down and half a force pipe with a mild tweaker cam.... Hey guys Roger gave us an annoy'd a$$ chewing it wasn't a Stone Cold Steve Austin A$$ chewing. I just don't understand what they are doing down there at Gails. Half of their employees are annoyed by us and the other half is confused when we ask them questions, confused like they have the "We sell Buells," confusion. Roger stated that we were not to go get the bags because he was saving them for us, WTF, for when, when he has to pacify us for getting upset at Gail and her staff. I for one will also be taking my business else where. I gave Gail a shot, for a couple months now. I just a few minutes ago, went to her web site and Buell's are only mentioned on the home page once and thats the link to the showroom floor. If she gave a $hit that would be different. Everything else is hog and Harley related. They don't have $hit for parts and accessories, and just keep blaming vendors. My hands are up in the air, for all of you who like Gails I support you in your decision to be supportive. But I can find better support elsewhere. I'll still attend meetings at Gail's and support our group in any way I can but as for padding Gails pockets I'm also finished. Maybe Roger should have pray'd for sunshine and a better attitude, instead of what we got on Saturday. Not that I'm Gails retirement plan or anything but hell DaveS and Central can get me what I want and thats all I need. Double J's 2 Cents | ||

Oh yeah when I asked Roger if I could get my rewards card, he walked right past me and said nothing, maybe he didn't hear me, but I'm sure he did. Thanks Dennis for giving me yours, now that I have 100 points on it from having a good time with my Buell buddies I will offer it up to who ever wants it cause I'm not going to need it. I for one enjoy'd the hell out of the demo day, it was great riding, joking, and getting sun burnt with you guys. Hopefully many more to come in the future. Especially the wise cracks by Richie Rich. Sally was a blast "no really." I think that's what Eric named her. | ||

Dennis, I for one dont mind responding to any of your questions on line,I will stand behind what I say,posting anonymous just isnt me and is gutless in my opinion.Im not sure who Tom the sales manager is,but if its the guy with the poney tail he was bashing Buells long ago at the other store,and I talked to him one time about it then,and reminded him of our conversation after the first meeting at Gails,he remembered our initial meeting.The factory guys told us how they felt and it was good enough for me,I wasnt expecting any recognition of any kind from Gails,I didnt do it for Gails,but for BUELL.Gail has to delegate jobs to other people she cant do it all,it may or may not be anything she is aware of.If you dont want to waste YOUR time fine,or ever helping with anything associated with Gails,thats all good.But dont say that this club or any member wont help,volunteer,or waste their time helping with anything.Dont take this the wrong way,but YOURE not the club,you cant and wont dictate what I or others member will or will not do,just because you may have a problem and your feathers are rustled.The problems I've seen so far a MINOR,and can be worked out and thru.Its still an re-education and de-brain washing problem.Its amazing how some are ready to jump ship or go up in arms over this stuff.Dennis if you want to go have a talk with Gail,do it,she is approachable and will always take time to listen.AS far as that goes any member of our club can do that very thing.Ive talked to her several times and always felt they were positive.WE are the BRAG club,its up to US to make it work,not Gail,not Roger,or anyone else.If we hadnt helped with the Buell demo's WHO would?On the buying a Buell issue,I probably will never want a XB,I'm kinda partial to the the BEST ALL AROUND Buell ever built,my M2,BUT,if I was looking,I would see who was giving me the best deal for my dollar and buy there. | ||

Since I did not hear the azz chewing, I can look at both sides. Perhaps this was merely Roger's miscommunication and over-reaction. Perhaps he forgot to tell us that he was intending to grab bags for us, and give them to us at the next meeting, thereby avoiding awkward issues on Saturday. After all, the Harley volunteers didn't get hats, sling bags, or a second t-shirt. Maybe he was trying to avoid any bad feelings between the groups. Or maybe I am just whistling through my hat........ (I assume Buell paid for those bags, with the intent of giving them to the customers......) I can debate either side of nearly any issue, should I choose to. My answers were that I would do it again (but get some rides in next time) and I would buy my bike from the dealer with the best price on the bike I want. | ||

Roger sounds like a puttz, don't know, haven't met him yet. Still trying to make it to a meeting.It almost sound's like he was trying to treat you guy's like employee's instead of Volunteer's. It's been my experience that the true jerk in some people, always finds it way thru, especially when things aren't going their way. I've been the pissed on employee, and I've been the Prick Boss. I would also like to point out, the best part of being a volunteer is, if he, she, they, or whom every pisses you off then Screw Em, jump on your ride and go enjoy the rest of your day.
