THANK YOU... THOSE THAT CAME OUT TO HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN & THOSE THAT CAME AND DID A DEMO RIDE AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE THIS CLUB WILL NOT FAIL DUE TO US NOT DOING OUR PART. AND WE DID OUR PART TODAY! THANKS TO THE MEMBERS THAT SPREAD THE WORD. IF THAT HAD NOT BEEN DONE... THIS DEMO DAY MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL AS IT ENDED UP! GOOD JOB... AND THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE CLUB! |

Oh, now you've done it. He already told me that I wouldn't be getting any toys this Christmas, and now you are making fun of him. Looks like you are going to have to buy your own presents this year. Roger, too. Where are your pictures of the micro-mini with the disappearing thong? (Or, aren't you allowed to post soft porn on this site?) (Message edited by dustyjacket on April 23, 2005) |

I think I saw Dustyjacket today along with Thunder and Dasbuell at the demoday, good to be able to put some faces with badweb names. It looked like a great showing, hope it exceeded the dealerships expectations. The demo ride route was GREAT! I just wish I could have done that "mini" right-hand sweeper off of Main St. a few more times without anyone in my way I'm glad I got to ride a XB12S and XB12R, one of the black XB12 Lightning's wasn't running perfect (poor engine/throttle response) and when I got on the XB12R it was definately running much better. I was surprised that the windblast from the Lightning wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, actually prefered it to the Firebolt...extra windblast on a Lightning would HELP* remind me not to go too fast on the highway lol. I was surprised that I could actually feel the subtile weight difference between the XB9R and the XB12R. I also picked up on the XB9's shorter gearing, I'd rather have a 12 though as the 9 didn't rev up much quicker and the extra 500rpms to me didn't seem like a big deal. I got to ride 3 Buells, which is what I wanted to do...I wish I could have demo'd a Harley just for the hell of it, but ran out of time. Thanx for posting the pix Dennis, and don't hold back if you've got pictures of the mini-skirt (Message edited by enp83 on April 23, 2005) |

Great Pictures Dennis, Thanks for the media coverage!!!!!!!! The Girls name who wanted the 12R so bad was Michelle, her husbands name was Dave I think. They both loved to ride and could'nt believe they got to ride these Buell's today. By the way, that was a black lace thong under that skirt today |

Loren, How'd you like Hwy 160? There are some great roads down there. Don't tease him about all of the luggage on that bike. Mine looks like that every weekend! It just means we're out riding while you schmucks are puttzing back and forth to latte land!

Charles, We aren't making fun of him, my bike will be looking like that too, I just want to know where he got most of his set-up from. So on my trip to Montana I will have some packing space. |

The saddle bags and one of the tailbags are Tourmaster Cortech Series Sport models See link. I picked them up off Ebay last year. www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=82-332 The bag sitting on top of the Cortech bags is a Wolfman. See link and it was also a Ebay purchase. www.wolfmanluggage.com/03Tail/RamblerMiniTail.html Both brands are quality bags IMO. On the trip down the Wolfman bag was empty,(except for the bear gun and kitchen sink) and I put riding gear in it that I took of along the trip as the temperatures went from about 50 to upper 70's. US-160 was a BLAST! A real roller coaster ride. |
