The schematic I posted and sent out has the hook up to the ECM incorrectly documented. The Control line should be on the left side of the diagram and the Hall Effect line on the right. Also the text description is reversed as well. Both wires connect to pin #2 of each chip, but the Control wire goes to the diode. xbolt12 |

You can leave the motor in and just disconnect the cable to the muffler if you are not modifying the airbox. If you are, do a search on "Servo Emulator" on the XBoard and it's the Dec 31, 2004 post. I just added to that thread last night with an explanation regarding the error in the schematic and text. xbolt12 |

Yes, that is the schematic in error. It should say Control (ECM) on the left side (diode) and Hall Effect (ECM on the right.... |
