I really like the site....you guys are funny! I want to ride with you guys sometime....I am going to have to beg, borrow, or buy a Buell one of these days. Is there a meeting place or something where I can put faces to names sometime? |

Well if it has been on the dyno a few times... that makes it apparent I am in last place on the Mileage Reward Program!

What is a "Loyalty Card" ? Does involve oaths? Or cutting our hands and dripping blood on the ground? Or do you just tithe? |

Mr. Sweet, if you set up your pictures like this: /image{asdfghjk} (leave a space here) /image{oiuytwert} (leave a space here) /image{zxvbn} they will stack vertically and make them easier to view like such:

So, to reword my post way above. Are there any Buells tht are older-aged, less-flexible rider friendly? Or are they all going to have me in a half-pushup position for a long ride? I am looking for any option to stay with the Buell name, rather than crossing to "the Dark Side"...... |

Did Buell cut their lineup? I was at their site and saw nothing about an S2 or S3. If they are older models no longer being produced, then I should explain that I would be looking for a new bike. I am tired of dealing with someone else's problems when I buy used items. |

Dusty, Sorry you are out of luck then. The only Buell modesl currently available are the Firebolt, Lightning and Blast and they are all pretty sporty positions. |

There are still some unsold tube frame models in various dealerships. Or wait until June or July to see if anything new is announced. |

The Firebolt looks the closest to what I might like, as far as the current models go. It looks like it would be a kick in the butt. How is it for distnce riding? (I probably won't be moving "up" until early next year.... |

I can barely sit still. My wife just called me at work to say my Corbin seat for the Blast just arrived. Now, if I can sneak out early for a quick ride before tonight's meeting..... |

"older-aged, less-flexible rider friendly?" The S2 and S3 are older aged.... you could always put helibars and xbs footpegs on a 'bolt for comfort. I've done numerous 500+ mile days on my firebolt...I am still a "flexible rider" and at about 700 miles I don't care what bike your on you're going to feel it! Realistically how many miles are you talking? The longest ride I've EVER been on was between gas stations.... |

Shazam - the rider is older, not the bike. True, I was talking about a day trip. Maybe once a year a 2-day trip. On those trips I can imagine my wife not wanting to ride the Blast, and want to do a 2-up. The Firebolt appears to be set up for that, but it may be mainly for show. At tonight's meeting I want to ask Firebolt riders' opinions. I originally wanted a Sportster, but I like what Buell is trying to do..... and if I can scrape up $10,000+ for a 1200C I can do the same for a Buell. |
