I purchased and installed a streetfighter seat this weekend but I don't know if it fits right. There is a big gap on the front part of the seat and the frame. Those of you that have it how does your fit?

Mine fit pretty much like yours (i.e. loosely at the front), so I taped a piece of foam through the front grooved mounting point on the "frame" mount that the front seat prong slides into. It helps, but the seat has never fit as tightly as I would have liked. But it is much more comfortable that the stock seat... |

There's a plastic clip on the bottom of the seat that faces forward and inserts into the subframe. It looks to me like that plastic piece is sitting on top of the sub frame. If you can lift the front of the seat and find "play", then the tab is not in there correctly. |

Dago That was my first thought as well but I checked and all clips are in place and the seat is secure. What you guys think? Should I exchange it? |

Does it move forward when you sit on it? It don't look right. It looks like it isn't in the lower clip but you said you already verified that. |

Mine looks similar as well. If you look at my profile you can see it. The two stock seats that I have definitely fit A LOT better. This is one small reason that I'm considering a Corbin, other than comfort. I was never 100% satisfied with the Streetfighter fit. |

When new, mine looked exactly like that. At first I thought it wasn't secured well, but it was. After you get some time on it, the gap distance will decrease. |

mine has a little less...just put it on last week, put the minor disappointment with the fit is rewarded in the ride and comfort, feels like your in it not on it. mike |

I agree that the comfort FAR outweighs the slightly loose fit. This seat IS a vast improvement over the stock seats. |

Hey Blake... I have the gap too but it's only about 1/4" and tapers off towards the bottom edge just like yours. |
