Deadman, Thanks for taking care of my friend. I think he wants to convert. I sure hope he does. He is currently a serious squid. He was very impressed with the Buell and the dealership. Thanks again, D |

Went to Atlanta motor speedyway today and had a great time. Rick Mears was there. Rode in three cars. Drifting was fun.The tires would spin through out the turns. The GTS road racing series was really cool 330hp cars. Stock car was 450hp. Got free stuff and food and pics. I'll try to get them posted. |

Whats up yall! Well I am sure most of you know but I spent the day in jail yesterday for reckless driving, lets just say next time I will be late for work. I will try to get my bike out of impound tonight depending on what wrecker service has it but I am probably not riding this weekend. If I do it will be local I am sure, not really up for a road trip after yesterday. The good news is the truck driver took good care of my bike, this guy was extra careful not to drop it but I am sure I will have some serious marks from the straps and hooks he used to tie it down. Buell666, sorry dog! Last night was very hectic and I forgot to call, I will buzz you later this afternoon. Shred, my co-worker is doing that same thing today out at Road Atlanta, from what he said it sounded way cool, so how did you get invited? you have to be a smoker right? Marlboro put this show on did they not? One last note, any riding that takes place that even begins to resemble the hooliganism's we showed Atl Thursday and I will turn around! I cannot afford any more violations, my wallet is already thin and this crap is bogus. I feel that getting away with and actually riding that way was what caused my brain to say go and get me arrested, and let me tell you, sitting in a sealed room with Junkies, wife beaters, and dudes soliciting prostitutes, all of them contribute to the smell of urine, butt, and feet and I do believe that just being in contact with them has made me a dumber person. I will not sit in one of those cells ever again. Ride safe and watch for the pigs. |

New12r, ya damn hooligan. That's a tough break, man. I hate that for you. On a lighter note, I hope ya didn't get your salad tossed while you were in the pokey. Looks like your gonna have to stay under the radar for a while. Be careful man, It would suck to loose your license and not be able to ride with you. |

I will have to play it safe, Just pulling out of my driveway for a short run and I swear I found all the cops. I owe a big thanks to BraveAngel and Along4theride!! Those two sprung me, got me real food, and gave me the positive attitude I needed when I got out. Also to Silverbullet for keeping them posted on my status from the internet! I owe you one.} |

When it comes to riding, wisdom and old age is usually brought on by a few experiences with the butt scent/foot odor urine socked crowd... |

I'm here lurking. I had a quiet weekend. Did things around the house and hung out on the deck. No riding except for an hour run all the way up Spaulding Dr. to Riverside Dr. across 285. Man there are some unbelievable houses and some pretty good curves as well. My squidly neighbor (Mr. Kickstand) with his angry weedeater sounding 600R asked me if I wanted to ride on Sunday but I passed and washed the truck. Whew! Silverbullet.....Give me a call when you get a moment. |

It is really weird. I rode my a55 off all winter long and as soon as the weather turns around riding is the last thing on my mind. I think I am just subconsciously letting the squids sort it out. The roads are way too crowded right now with both cops and squids and I need to avoid both like the plague! I went up to Detroit, Boston and New York last week. It was a bummer, the truck I went to see was a basketcase, I could not find any smaaart kids to beat up, Motel Sunfire was too cold and I spent all the money I made selling my studio equipment! But I made some more progress in the yard this weekend. One more good weekend of progress and I should be returning to the regular maintenance schedule...i.e. giving the kid next door 20 to mow it! |

What an Awesome Weekend. I trailered to Chattanooga and skipped out Sunday Morning to ride. I realized I wasn't too far from the Cherohala Skyway so that is where I headed, but the destination was only 1/3 the fun. I found two GREAT roads to hit on the way there. I took 64/74- It was an incredible road!! It winded along with the Ocoee River for MILES Then I headed up 68. The road between Ducktown TN and Tellico Plains was also incredible!!! All curves!!! (I can't find a map online that does it justice) I was on a time limit so I rode pretty hard. I didn't know exactly what to expect from the Skyway. I've heard all kinds of people talk about it and EVERYONE says you Have to ride it. I guess I was thinking more of Deal's Gap type riding. Not the long fast sweepers I got. You ride along the tops of the Mountains in NC and can see for miles. The view was to die for but since I was limited on time I didn't get a chance to stop and really enjoy it, I only had time to enjoy the riding. Heading up I was conservative, but coming back I was a little more braizen and hit it pretty fast. I surprised myself when I was coming out of a corner and looked down and I was doing almost 80... Ooops. I guess the speed does come when you work on technique. Then I had a Turkey fly out in front of me- I didn't know Turkey's could fly?? Well he couldn't very well and I swear I had to duck to go under him. I slowed down a bit, which was a good thing cuz just as I was coming into another corner, another Turkey comes running across the road. I don't think this one could fly cuz when he saw me coming he just picked up the pace and ran a little harder. It was pretty funny but I took it as a sign and slowed down a bit. I got back to the TN side of the Skyway and stopped at this little roadside stand and got some chips and a drink to eat by the River. It was perfect!!! All in all it was a GREAT day. The first time I have ever ventured out solo on such a ride and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I did 260 Miles and next time I'm going to make sure I have a little more time to stop and enjoy the view!!! |

Met Hulley yesterday. He went riding by my house to see a friend and I freaked to see another Buell in the hood. So I jumped on mine and went to find him. That was pretty kewl. Only problem is that our bikes are almost identical. Guess I have more modding to do. DARN...hehehe. Nice to meet you Hulley. Buzz me and we can ride sometime. 12r, bummer on the recent slammer stay. Hope they didn't f'up your bike. A4TR, that is nice country up there. I have been to raft the Ocoee several times but I have never ridden my bike up there. Looks like you had fun. Well, I've got my first service scheduled for tomorrow and I am having the TFI put on per Odie's suggestion. Hopefully, that will let the beast out a little more. So far I love my special ops pipe. Now all I need to do is cut the airbox. Odie, The package is in the mail. Later, D

Hully....I was going to buy the Mitsu but went with the Panasonic. Got more bang for the buck and I have been happy with it. The guy at HiFi Buys spent about 2 hours with me telling me the difference. |
