I know they've given these away in the past but they are running demo days until June 30th. The info is on the Buell home page in the upper right corner. |

The new bag is nice, too. The one thing I didn't like about the last one was the lack of a waist strap. Somebody listened.

will have to stop by a buell dealer while I am in Wisconsin and pick one up, the dealer in Utah doesn't participate. Josh |

Man, I missed out on that last time because the friggin Buell Dealer in Yuma stopped carrying them and when I got my new bike, the dealership I got it from didn't have any, and NOW I'm here in Iraq. DANGIT. |

They were giving the new bags out at March Badness at T.W.O. They are MUCH nicer than the old bags. |

David, For you my man I'll mail you mine. I have several conventional backpacks that work better on the bicycle and when leaning over on the mcycle. Just send me an address where it can go to now or when you get back. Hey, for another excuse to go to Arizona I might just deliver it myself. |

Thanks for the offer Mike, you don't have too. I actually transferred to North Carolina, that's where home is right now. I'm gonna be home for leave in a few months, then I get to come back to this wonderful desert oasis here in Iraq. I'll check with the local dealer there, see if he can hold me one. |

Too cool Cameron and Mike. Cameron, you may love it twisted, but you have a kind heart too. Calendars Anyone? Shameless plug I know, but hey, they have a nice black and bright yellow banner on the back that I know Cameron will appreciate. |

I love living close to NO dealers. The nearest one is in Dallas. 150 miles away. |

Don't feel bad Kelly. I live within a reasonable distance to several dealers but they don't participate. In fact, the dealership ranked as the number 1 Harley dealer in Virginia (also a Buell dealer) doesn't participate. They could care less about Buell. They told me straight out when I asked about the hat during the last promotion that they lose money on the promotions for Buell so they don't get involved. |

I broke my new bag already make sure you watch the loop that the main shoulder strap hooks through... I loaded the bag up good leaving the Appleton dealership and noticed it was hanging on by a thread when I parked the bike. That woulda sucked to have it fall off at speed! |

Clinton, I'll send you a new one on Tuesday. Did you have it too full of cheese? How would it be possible to lose money on a Buell promotion? All the stuff is FREE to the dealer, they just have to send in the vouchers. I'll bet them darn Buells "just don't sell around here" at that dealership. What a bunch of crap. |

I can't say Dave. That was what the Sales Manager told me at the dealership here when I tried to get a hat. Said they still had sling bags left over from the last time (wouldn't give me one of those instead). I really chalk it up as one of those Harley dealerships that really doesn't want to carry Buell. What's worse is that they seam like one of those dealerships that goes out of their way to treat you worse if you're there for Buell related merchandise/service (based on my experience). |

Dave, so are you saying I shouldn't have loaded up the sling-bag with 80lb. of fresh cheese curds?? My bad But seriously, I appreciate you sending a new one out. Not sure if it was a dud or what. I'll take a pic to show you how the loops just came right out. I tugged on the next loop down and it came right out too. It seems the stitch to hold it in place isn't deep enough into the cross loop. Something to check i guess. |

[qoute]I love living close to NO dealers. The nearest one is in Dallas. 150 miles away[/qoute] Mine is a 1000 miles, might be a bit less, also it seems we in the arse end of the world always lose out on these promo's, nope if it was 150 miles I would ride it with a smile on my face.. |

I'm about to find out if you have to do a demo ride to get a sling bag. I'm on my way over to my local dealer to get a new turn signal and I'll ask. Results later today or tomorrow. |

I was told at the dealership that in order to get a sling bag I would HAVE to take a test ride. |

Got my sling today. Nice bag, seems tougher then the first one. I tested a 9S and a Blast. Really liked the 9S, and the Blast lived up to it's name, it was a really fun little bike. One of the dealers I frequent, (where I got my Buell), said he would just give me one, but I still wanted to test ride. |
