Anyone have pics of stock shortened front and/or rear signals on an "S" model ??? Wondering how they look - every time I look down at my front signal stalks "dancing" around at idle I think about shortening them. Thanks, EE |

Apex, "thats one i made...what do ya think?" I like it !!! Looks BETTER than my "tall" CF flyscreen from American Sport Bike. What material did you use, I assume it's painted black ??? Let me know, I'd be interested in one. Thanks, EE} |

E, it's fiberglass, this is my second one,my first one was more stock looking with the hump and about 2 1/2 in. taller. the new one is about 3 1/2 taller about an inch wider. and it is painted. |

It's extremely easy to shorten the fronts. Pull the flyscreen and disconnect the wires. Remove the signals. Remove the spacers from the shafts. Reinsert the signals into the head (no need to cut the shafts), and reinstall the spacers and hardware inside the head. |

"It's extremely easy to shorten the fronts. Pull the flyscreen and disconnect the wires. Remove the signals. Remove the spacers from the shafts. Reinsert the signals into the head (no need to cut the shafts), and reinstall the spacers and hardware inside the head." After pulling my flyscreen and trying the above, I have to ask how is this possible ??? After you remove the spacer and insert the signal shaft back in, it runs into the headlight and there's no room for the spacer (or the nut & washer for that matter). I'd love to know how you're doing this ??? Thanks, EE |

Hmmm, possibly your bike is special? I've done it, and so have many others here. My spacer just kisses the top of the rubber piece on the back of the headlight, but it fits without interference and has done so for the last year with no problems. You do need to remove your headlight assembly to allow access to the hardware. It then goes back in just fine. (Message edited by 2k4xb12 on April 20, 2005) |

ZK, "possibly your bike is special?" I doubt that, thanks very much for the pics, they are a big help. I'll get back to it, I'm sure (after seeing the pics) it can be done. Thanks very much, Emery |
