Ok before all the everyone goes nuts and says "Buells are for riding" and all that other stuff. Please remeber that along with showing my bike at bike events and as a display for my business, I put miles on it to, some even at track days. I built/installed all the parts on my bike myself and had Appleton Harley dyno tune it 78hp. So with that said, enjoy the pics... (or hate them I guess???) In the first pic you can see I added alot of chrome. But if you look closer you will see that the polished fron fork no longer has the tabs for the dual brake setup (I don't ride that hard). I also polished the swingarm, made a custom derby cover, and added the Badweb Buell 20th polished oil plug (thanks again, those were cool).  In this pic you can see the custom Timing cover I made, polished forks, polished swingarm, custom built belt gaurd, polished and painted rear swingarm brace, and my custom built battery cover.  This pic is from the back. I made my own plate mount and have added an LED tail light setup. You may also notice one extra gauge in the dash. It is a clock! I bought the dash from a former Bueller in Wisconsin and added it to my bike. I also added S3 handlebars for comfort. Since the rise is greater and a bit narrower it was tricky getting the clutch cable to clear.  Finally here are some pics of my bike at night. I added LED Lights as you can tell.   Thanks... Koz...that be one pimpin' ride, yo  I noticed on the XB board that you used a 6 pin trailer plug for the rear (tail lights and markers). How'd that work for ya? I had the same thought for my S1W. It would make it easier to swap tail sections for track days (if I ever get the parts painted). | ||

Lake, My tail lights don't work right now. I have a wierd grounding issue. I will figure it out next week. Are you going to Cyclemania tomorrow? I forgot to mention I also polished my triple trees. All the lights on the bike have no effect on working on the bike. The are all hidden and wired to the frame. You can remover the tank and tailsection of the bike without having to cut any wires. $1.00 to the first guy who can figure out where I hid the power switch for the lights... | ||

My guess would be the passing light switch to flash the highbeam rewired as an on/off control... For its intended purpose for your shop Koz I think you nailed it. Definate kudos. | ||

Koz...Lookin' Fine. However, you just may want to change your nickname to Rooster, if you remember the character from the old Beretta (Robert Blake) TV series. LOL Can't wait to see it live. You sure have but a lot of time and effort into making a show bike out of it and it really looks great! | ||

Badweb is in no way responsible for any defects in materials or workmanship, makes no claim of suitability in the application for which the drain plug is being used, and is not liable for any damages caused by the use of said product. In fact, there is no mention of the name Badweb anywhere on either the Drain plug itself, on on the packaging that it came in. Koz, Looks good!!! Did you have any trouble hooking up that clock?? I've been planning on doing something similar. Did you use an S3 wiring harness or just splice it into existing wires? | ||

I spliced the wiring into the hot wire on the ignition and the light onto the Speedo light. It was vary easy. If it was you that sent me the email, sorry I didn't get back to you right away. It was a busy weekend. | ||

Koz it looks great, I can only imagine the time & effort you've put in, my hat's off to you guy. Your bike is exactly the complete opposite end of the spectrum from mine, When I start to get dirty from riding the bike then I force myself to find the time to give it a once over. (born lazy) Other than that if the weather's good enough & I've got the time to clean it, well hell I'd rather be riding it!  | ||

Well I really love my M2 a lot. I was offered $10,000 at the show for my bike. I can't fathom selling it though. Maybe if I could have a XB12R and a Road King, but that is not going to happen. If it did though, I would still keep my M2. It's kinda like my Jeep. If I were to buy a new vehicle today I would just get another Jeep. Unlike my Jeep though, I can't just go out and buy another new M2. I want to keep my Buell for many years. Maybe people will think I am driving a classic one day, who knows. with the tube frame and classic big headlight it has a timeless look to it. (if you don't believe me look at a late 80's sportbike, they look old) I know that putting the work into it now, polishing, upgrading parts, it only helps me become more familure with my bike for a long time to come. It was the last 1200cc bike Buell made with a carb. It was the last tube frame. It was the last bike I fit on (6'3" . It had all the updated parts, orange frame, PM wheels, and I don't see many of them. I was going to get a blue one, but my wife (girlfriend at the time) thought the Orange and Grey was much cooler looking, I now agree. It reminds me very much of the last Muscle cars. Yeah the newer cars go faster, but there is just something about basic carb, cc's, and no computers. Look me up in twenty years and ask me how my M2 is doing... | ||

Koz The switch is hidden under the fender(rear)/ seat area, the Leds Look cool as does the derby Buell missed one, that Cyclone art you did is just too cool |
