Oh ok I'm in. Thats right i'm already listed. anyway this is a great place to ride. plenty of twistys good place to wring out a thumper. If you need encouragement, there is a bike show at Owls Head transportation museum 29 August inside the grounds there are lots of great pre 1984 bikes and outside in the parking lot over 1000 bikes of all types. possibly we could work something around that. I like that Idea... A Thumpervention at OHTM... If we ask nicely, we can have a parking area of our own... means basically staking out an area in the parking lot and posting a sign.,... but they'll allow it if you ask.. Both Sandy and I know all sorts of entertaining roads.... |

JAson I think that we may have one other blaster there. I spoke with a gal here in Camden and she said that it also sounded fun. Maybe other Buells besides Blasts will show up. I do know that there were close to 1000 bikes of all sorts in the parking area last year. Inside they have pre 1984 bikes for those who want to show them . Lots of really cool stuff. If this sounds like a hint to others to show up at the Owlshead Transportation Museum in Owlshead Maine just south of Rockland Maine on the Midcoast on Sunday 29 August from 10 to sometime in the afternoon, which has been great fun in the past. Perish the thought. I want to keep it all to myself and not share. Seriously it would be a great place to go then have a great ride to any number of locations in the area. |

Just met up with another Blaster on my way back from Rockland. He has had his for two weeks. Didnt get to ask what he was doing on Sunday due to traffic. Jason if you want to get rid of your pro exaust, he was asking about mine and how much it cost etc.. I had forgotten how the stock system sounded. |

Finally the weather has changed. Spent the weekend on the Blast. Felt good like I was coming out of Hibernation. Still lots of sand on the roads especially in some corners. Lots of bikes out. Saw a brand new Blast going the otherway. Also saw two other Buells. End of the month will head over to NH for Buell days at Meridith HD. Rain coming on Tuesday but looks to be clearing after. |
