Madgaz, so what's the new job mate? As I recall you were a safety professional. You installing seat belts on cow ponies now? What's your nearest town? |

S1hoolyman. I heard you made it out of sight of the h&h shop today without going down! Hope the bike is all you expected it to be. Revived, refreshed, and ready to ride. I bailed out my M2 from H&h today as well. $500 for 2 busted motor mount bolts. I'm ok with that. She sounds like she is ready to ride again. Bet those header nuts don't back off anymore either, now that the motor mounts are in. Mom is in transition to hospice now, so not sure if I will make it to McMinnymouseville this weekend for the YSR races. |

Good to hear you got her out, lucky he was able to salvage those heads. That could have been spendy. The bike is running good, still only have like 120 miles on the rebuild so I am still just babying it along. Sounds loud as heck now with the force exhaust on it. Was setting off alarms all over my neighborhood. What days are the races this weekend? |

The OMRRA site is saying that the racing is at PIR this weekend? Is it PIR or Mcminnville? I would like to check it out. |

Anyone interested in a 2004 Dyna Lowrider? Wife's bike, only 270 miles, Burgandy and Peach, engine guards, license plate frame, like new. I bought this for my wife last April while visiting Firemanjim. Unfortunately due to her medical condition she no longer wants to ride, so it's gotta go. Anyone interested can reach me at 253-405-0667. $15,000.00 |

Shotgun, Yeah mate, I'm a safety manager. I'll have a look into saddling cattle with seat belts as mandatory equipment if you trial it on the M2 and send crash test results. But for the moment concentrating on cowboys doing silly cowboy things. The nearest town is Texas. A little town of around 900 people, 3.5 hours south west of Brisbane. 2 hours south of Toowoomba. Two men settled here in the early 1800's, and left it to chase gold when the rush was on. They came back and someone else had settled on their plot. A drawn out fight followed. The original owners thought it was the same as what happened in Texas. So named it the same. (the real texas history I am not familiar with)Originaly a tobaco growing area. Now all cattle and some sheep. The house is 300 yards from the New South Wales, Queensland border. From here its a short trip to many towns and there is always something on. Next saturday is the Texas rodeo, so we will don our akubra's, slip on the moleskins and join the fun. Norma is coming over for the first 2 weeks of June. Coming from Forrest Grove it will be a bit of an eye opener for her. She is also bringing essentials like bisquick. Cannot get anything even similar hear, so Susie will be a dynamo in the kitchen when it gets here. Like to find a reliable source of this kinda stuff. MadGaz |

Track days anyone? Pacific Super Sport Riders is offering various track day options on their website for PIR. I have signed up for one and will be doing it with the X1. http://www.pssrtrack.com/ Is SSTC still riding on the 3rd Sunday of every month. The X1 has new plugs, oil and is ready (I think) for action. |

I went to MCminnville today and watched practice. It was pretty rainy, there was a few get offs, thankfully nothing major. Shotgun, you going tomorrow for the races? If you are, call me before you leave and I'll go with. 503-330-6516 Cell I gotta say, it looked pretty fun. I think I am going to buy one and hit it up.. |

Mike Wood was one of them, then there was this other guy I dont know. He was on bike #81. Mike went down due to a missing bolt on the front breaks. He was coming into the pits, put on the breaks a bit and the front just locked up on him and over he went. |

Hey all. If anyone knows someone who needs to start out, I'm unloading my 2002 Blast. Pic here: http://www.geekslair.com/bike/1.jpg I'm asking 3K (firm). It's got a Ventura luggage rack, Buell windscreen, and both the standard and low-profile seats. Never been dropped. Dealer serviced. Owner & Shop manuals. Selling it because I picked up a M2 <grin>. |

Debbie, remember you bested me in one heat. But I got to watch the prettiest azz in the northwest for 8 whole laps! On a sadder note, my mom passed away this morning at 88 yrs old. She had a wonderful weekend with 3 nieces who flew in from Minnesota to be with her and fix her hair and do her nails and giggle and gossip and love her up. She asked for a dose of morphene when they left and died in her sleep about midnight. Finally free from pain. Full of the love of family. Ready to meet Dad in heaven after almost 18 years without him. I am sad but happy and cherish the support and love of all of my Badweb friends. We will bury her ashes in Minnesota on Friday. Hoist one for Cecile Lenore Anderson Eldridge. \Steve/Shotgun |

Steve, You have my most sincere condolences. I dread when the time comes to say goodbye to my Mom. We lost my Grandfather back in Jan after years of dealing with Alzheimers, so I know what you mean about being finally free. I'll definitely raise a glass to her tonight after work. God bless ya brother. Pete |

"racer girl" nah, overly competitive YES! Mike would always wonder why Cody would get so upset when he didn't place where he wanted to, well now he knows! Got 2nd in my heat and I was well lets say not so happy. I got really focused about what I needed to do next time out. I needed to get a better start (read - do not pull up the front tire) and then push myself as hard as I could through the turns knowing that would be my only advantage. It was a hell of a lot of fun and I got to do it with the best female rider I know - Debbie. Thank you guys for a really fun weekend and some excellent competition. Taylor Clan- Man I sure hope yard work never has to come before the track Can you ever imagine Cody or Mike for that matter saying, "lets stay home and work in the yard." That just plain sucks, hope to see you guys out there next time. Kimberlie |

Yard Work, I'm thinking with history. Chris has a habit of getting messed up before vacations. Soooooo/Loni lined him up for "said" yard work! Shotgun, I'm so sorry to hear the news. No more pain for your mom, just memories for you and yours. May you laugh often when you remember something fun. And I heard you behind me. And if I decide to get a chest protector I'll let you know. Kim can't wait for the next time on the track with you. In the hail Deb |

The yard work is done, nothing major will come in the way of the track for the rest of the year unless the fence (which the tree branches were laying) decideds to take a dump! I hope to see you all there next time. Deb you are correct sort of. If the next race is between now and the 26th I would have to say we will be there for the following race. Ain't know way I want him to be messed up for the 2 weeks in Maui! Thinking of you Steve! You and the family are in our prayers! Loni |

Betty's newest taboo tattoo. I don't know if she was inspired by the quest for a new Pope, or just wants to "be different". Who knows what goes through these kids heads anymore? sooner, Galen |
