just installed Crossroads bars on my 12S. Took about 1.5 hours. No big issues. Feels really good over 50mph. Great at 90+. Thanks Al at American Sport Bike for the timely delivery and advice. |

Mike, Thank YOU!! I've been selling a LOT of the 0 degree down angle crossroads bars, and other than a few folks having some minor installation issues, have been getting nothing but excellent feedback on them. They really are an improvement on either the stock bar position or the standard crossroads offering. Al |

Hey Al, I was one of the others who just bought the 0degree bars. I love em! Thanks. I only wish I could of tried out the -7 degree bars, if they were like the bars on my old R6 i would of liked them better *shrug* But I still love the bars, they are very well made. |

My pics I don't know which I have, the zero degree, or the others. I do know however I love 'em. They came from Al, via Dago. |

david, You've got the -7 degree bars. It's easy to tell. If the milling on the tongue and groove on the bar is flat relative to the line of the bar itself, they are 0 degree bars. If the milling has an angle, they are the -7 degree bars. There is no difference on the plate. One can convert from one to the other just by buying bars. The -7 angle isn't too bad, though I think it is a bit extreme given the triple clamp height vs seat height. My biggest complaint with the -7 degree bars was the width. The 0 degree bars are a full 0.7" narrower PER SIDE than the stock crossroads bars. One could hack that off the end of the -7 bars, and re-drill the control pod nub alignment holes, to help narrow up the -7 bars, and they would be a dramatic improvement over the stock crossroads offering. But I still think the flat's are better. Al |

I may just get the flats to see which I like better. How much are just the bars? I too didn't like the width. That's why I pushed them (the controls) in as far as they would go. Got about an inch on either end. Hold on I'll go take a pic so you can see what I mean. |

OK I'm back. This shows how much I pushed in the controls, and how I routed the XB9R clutch cable. I really like how the bike handles now. Big difference in the Mountains. Not that it handled badly, I just like how I'm positioned now, and still have an S. I also have the street fighter seat on, I wonder if that makes a difference as far as what you said about triple clamp height vs seat height, maybe not. Either way I'm happy. All that yellow stuff is the pine pollen we have to live with this time of the year. Everything has a coat. Sucks if you have hay fever! |

Al was also very helpful on my Heli bars for my XB12R. The riding position is more comfy than stock, but still aggressive enough to keep the handling top notch.

I got the X-roads before the 0* bars were offered. I have the -7* bars and would love to trade with anybody who has the 0* and wants the -7* instead. |

Glitch I did the same thing when I first had the crossroads on, but trimmed the excess off with a cut off wheel |

I want to change the bars out on my cityx, would love to have clip-ons like the Firebolt, or any other forward style bars for that matter. Does anyone have a pic of the 0 degree crossroad bars? I had crossroads bars on both my other buells. Ken |
